Thought of pursuing my dream as a hotel owner, or anything in tourism but parents say no.

So, I think..I'll end up as a business woman, running a family biz (though I can't see myself as one). Business? oh I hate statistics with a passion... i can safely say i never want a career in banking, finance, accounting or statistics... in contrast, i really like my other 3+1 subjects: marketing theory and practice, managing people and organisations, business law and also national language b.

:lazy:
Many ppl go through this problem Irene & I was one of them & I bowed down to pressure from my parents.

I was a marketing & human resources director at a financial firm but got fired.I had an import/export co that I ran part-time but my accountant stole so much that my partner backed out & the co was declared bankrupt.

Thats life,u gotta take the good with the bad & I really learnt who my "real" friends trully are!

Ive started a mobile phone business & I have tenders to supply various mobile networks across Africa. So things are lookig rosey for me at the moment.:)

@ Rob u know that i nearly became a chef but my parents frowned upon that idea.Id love to fulfill that dream one day.

I am a college student at Penn State University, the number three ranked university for preparing students for professional careers by Washington Monthly. I am double majoring in Meteorology and EBF (Energy, Business and Finance) and hopefully working within an energy company once I graduate.

working for any football team is my dream although it is almost impossible considering the thing i'm studying.

Working for juventus would be an ideal dream.

I have to do a work placement next semester, hadn't found a job yet though...actually wasnt called in for an interview yet

Indecent exposure. I pissed on a inter shirt out of pure frustation & anger & those pics landed in the local newspaper.

I was sent to a disciplinary hearing & I dragged the company's name through the mud.

if you are gonna go out then go out in style my friend, besides you were getting itchy feet with that place anyway.
everything happens for a reason, as for chefing mate, if you enjoy cooking then dont do it. working as a chef can really kill your enjoyment, i now enjoy cooking again as i dont get paid to do it

Not to mention that I could'nt stand how they were prepared to screw the "little" ppl over by firing them thus stripping them of their hard earned retirement funds.
Atleast I did some good when I was still there.
