Pedro Proenca has been confirmed as the referee for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash between Chelsea and Juventus.
The highly-regarded Portuguese official recently took charge of the Euro 2012 final contested by Spain and Italy, along with the Azzurri’s quarter-final meeting with England.
He will be assisted at Stamford Bridge by fellow countrymen Bertino Miranda and Tiago Trigo. Rui Tavares has been named as the fourth official.
