Yeah, i absolutely loved the Virtual pro from fifa in career mode. Really retarded they removed that you can both manage a team and have your virtual pro as a third option


So i create an 18 year old player, add to juve, boot masterleague. Since i cannot do achievements to boost him, i'll give him similar stats as a finished pro, so he can improve as he ages

I don't really do anything to train the players, the game is easy enough. Superstar level already 32-2-0 in this season.

The odd ones who had ridiculous spells of improvement were Pjaca, Mattiello and more recently Rugani.

Also because I rotate the squad like a madman the individuals don't progress as much with me. Berardi had two seasons with Sassuolo and turned ridiculous.

Serious question; How the f do you dribble in this game?

Practice, practice, practice. I was frustrated with it for ages but eventually you get to know the little things, when to make certain movements. Ultimately you have to draw players into making a tackle attempt, quick changes of direction take you past players. That or you master the skill moves, which is another thing that takes practice and differs from player to player.

Start with someone really good at it like Cuadrado.

Some are right stick, I find it useful to press on the right shoulder button (the non-sprint one) when in close control of the ball, then right stick with that button has another set of additional moves. It's a lot to take in, but after a while you get used to what different types of players can do and when to try certain things.

It's not like football games of old where players just have a skill rating and so some can do the tricks and others can't, some players have or learn specialised tricks, or they have certain attributes that allow them to do standard tricks or dribble in a certain way. The difference between Lichtsteiner and Cuadrado is a good example. For Licht you wouldn't try to do anything too complex facing up to a defender, just draw them in and then try to burst away. With Cuadrado you can go from a standing position and either inside or outside, using close control, speed or skills. He's good for practising dribbling at speed.

I just won a ps4 from a raffle at my job and I am considering buying PES 2017 because it has option files. I have never owned a PES game and have no idea how to download the clubs that aren't licensed in the game. Juve isn't in the game so if I can't download something I definitely won't buy it. Also I read something in this thread about downloading our primavera as well. Could someone help me and explain it in the simplest way possible lol? I've just never owned a PES game ever and I don't want to buy it if I can't play as Juve. I know @Osman and @JuveJay have this for ps4 and are very helpful members any help would be appreciated

It's not easy to explain but once you've done a couple of options files it is easy stuff. Basically on PS4 you can import entire teams having just downloaded them to USB. You plug in and then import them through the edit menu. There are good option files out there because the editing community is huge. The best one this year and most regularly updated is the DFL Option File: http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=100497 1st post should give most info.

Note that you need to be updated to patch 4.0 in game to use the relevant option file (in this case 4.2). You need a clean USB stick (2GB always works) formatted to FAT32 or ExFAT (try the first, if that doesn't work then try the second).

Ultimately you want to download the option file and then on your USB stick all you'll have on there is a folder called 'WEPES', inside it will be all the imported teams, emblems etc. These even include edited player data, team formation (these are the .bin files) giving updated formations, set piece takers etc.

When you go to Edit > Import data you then have to tick boxes for .bin files that you want to import, which will be called a team name. Each team takes a few seconds to import, so all the teams in the game might take 20-30 minutes. I would advise doing it in blocks of 10-15 teams, as it has been known to crash at times. If you get any errors coming up saying that image cannot be imported then make a note of the team and kit or logo and then you can also import images individually through the import page. You'll find that the image has probably been corrupted when downloaded, so you might have to create a subfolder in 'WEPES' called something else and add the missing logos you need. If you do have any missing logos give me a shout.

Juve are actually the only Serie A team without an official license in this game (because FIFA bought it), but you can edit most things to look authentic. No in-game 'Juventus' commentary or J-Stadium, which I find I don't miss much.

*BEWARE* - when you start using individual squads that people have uploaded it can badly mess with existing options files you have, because the same fake players could be used by both editors. This is one of the biggest problems with PES editing, which is why a lot of editors are teaming up now to avoid overlapping edits.

Like I said to Tak!, practice. Timing when to avoid a tackle takes practice, drawing players in. Dribbling at speed is very hard, try to steamroll through players and they will make great sliding tackles and interceptions. Slow it down and then when you get used to slower dribbling you can pick up little things that let you go past them at speed.

For example when I used Alex Sandro I know how to draw the defender towards me so I can then burst past with a little bit of speed to make room for a cross or cut to the byline. With Dybala his close control keeps the ball near and you can move towards and quickly away from opponents to make space for a curler when he comes inside.

Well said, some are hard to dribble with but as general rule release sprint button and suprise defender with quick change of pace. Realize the particular strength of who you are using.
