Im having a difficult time deciding whether to buy this or Fifa. PES was always my favourite game in the past and it seems that they will be making a lot of improvements for this years game but last years Fifa was great and they too are making a lot of improvements.

I might rent both and then decide.

Diego's stats are very realistic in PES 2009 (N. American version), obviously he'll get better soon, you gotta know how to use him.
