Meh. There's a lot of good kids in this team, but sometimes the match conditions go against you. In KO matches you're pretty much stuffed.

Unfortunately so...although there is no need to be too down in the mouth, given our brilliant form and position in the primavera league and cup and our upcoming knockout adventure in the Nextgen series against Rosenborg. We had a few mishaps, and were two players down by the end of the game, yet still looked capable of grabbing the goal we needed. The only lesson to be learned here is that we can't win everything all the time...

He had to go for the ball, and was one on one. Its tough to blame him as its always atricky move diving at players legs and the ball when they are coming at you with pace in the area and no defenders remain on hand to help.

I think Branescu is doing fine and dandy. Progressing at a solid rate and by far ournumber one choice in the primavera. However he is almost 19 now and need to head out for competitive development, probably in Serie B/C next season. Leali, who has just turned 20 is a player of remarkable potential. Already established first choice at a Serie B side. He needs a Serie A club next season, perhaps one of the newboys...but wherever he is headed next, the most important thing is that he gets games. Which seems quite likely wherever he goes given his talent.

Its as Mark says...I would forget about Branescu...and Pinsoglio, who is also having a solid season in Serie B. Our future goalkeeper is undoubtedly Leali. And possibly the indonesian/italian kid Audero who is already an established part of the italian national youth setup, at U15, U16 and I assume soon enough also the U17...following the still warm footsteps of...none other than Leali.

Already casting an imposing shadow on the field...Mark's solid tip for the future Emil Audero.

Our primavera lost 1-2 at home to Genoa yesterday...ending a winning stretch that lasted 12 games. Hasan Pepic made his debut...

    Branescu
    Untersee Rugani Laursen
    Ceria Schiavone Kabashi Pepic Ruggiero
    Padovan Beltrame

Beltrame got the goal...Ceria played well, as did Ruggiero (until succumbing to injury) and Beltrame proved a handful the whole match. We made plenty of chances, but failed to capitalize and were undone in a spell of genoa pressure after half time when they scored twice in quick succession.
We remain, despite the loss, 3 points clear of Fiorentina in 2nd with a game in hand.
