In the past 2 decades the press have worked their asses so hard to put Juve down. This is a fact that no-one can deny. Everytime they try to take cheap shots at juve. I will just list few of what pops into my mind:
- Late 90s doping trial. Started by the press.. A very long trial. Costed Juve alot of money and work. End result.. Juve 100% innocent. Then most of them did not mention that juve were innocent and still refer Juve to as the doped lady.
- Del Piero's injury, the press putting him down and saying that he is over.
- In the late 90s they played a role in Lippis resignation from Juve.
- Everytime Del Piero wastes a chance they criticize him like there is no tomorrow.
- Cannavaro was always an idol by the press.. Always hailed by them. He joined Juve and he got this in his back: The famous video, lying and saying that he said bad things about Capello (after last season), askin for him to be removed from the captain of italy of the tackle in the Lazio game and lately accused in illegial bettings and illegal transfer to juve.
- A TV channel volenteers to give in Ibra's video last season, then the famous 3 match ban rather than two that Zlatan received.
- Trying to make fire between Juve squadra, between Del Piero and Capello... Between Vieira and Ibra... between Giraudo and the Elkanns, between Camoranesi and Capello... Lapo Elkann and Del Piero ..etc
- Always trying to make a big deal of wrong calls by refs in favour of us, while neglecting calls where it came wrongly against us or in favour of other teams.
- The late Moggi-ref trial, first they publish such things 10 days before the last match. They fail to mention that Juve are on press-silence before this trial even started and call juve chicken for not being able to talk back to the press. Plus they fail to mention the good progression of Juve's trial.
- The buffon illegal bettering issue, again started by the media few days before the last match.
- Media publishing personal phone calls between Luciano and Alex Moggi.

In every time, the media are trying to put Juve down.. and in every time they fail... And they will continue to fail...

If we really controlled the league as they prosume, wouldn't it was easy for us to control them press?

Good post, ZAF.

It's little bit weird as you said, If Juve are really playing the "Mafia League" out there and they're able to control several Clubs, agents, players etc, why the Fvck can't they control media, press??? thats a good question.

But the press' negative stance towards Juve is partly our own fault...at some point in every season the board does a media blackout. It's not a coincidence that this scandal, and Cannavaro's video last year, were brought out in that period.

Actually you are wrong, the Cannavaro and Ibra videos came out before the press release alongside the fake clash between Del Piero and Capello. This is why the Triade decide to go into a press silence cause the media are trying to distroy the team.
This is the second year we ever made a press silence.. So it does not explain the 2 decades of hardcore anti-juventini media.

We dont care about the media , the important thing is not to find anything serious against Juve in court

Many ppl call for blood and Berlusconni doesnt enjoy getting his ass kicked in football. He is a man with great power and determination. He has been working against us all the time. I remember when two milan players didnt show up for a doping test. 2 days later there was nothing in the press. Rio in England was banned for 6 months. And Milan call for justice?? I just hope goes around comes around and they get paid for everything they have done to our beloved Juve.

though i have to say that the press seems to be anti-juve in a manner, but walking around and whining about how 'innocent' we are and how 'everyone is out to nail us' is pissing me off.

we're being investigated for a reason.and its more than just the press being against us.
