Pep has never failed before and doesn’t know how to cope with it. His lack of experience with truly struggling teams at the lower level is showing. This could break him entirely.

The biggest beneficiary of this season is Halaand. He’s so young and has only experienced things going super smoothly…everything he touched turned to gold. He’s learning a life lesson at the right age.

But for Pep he is learning it while old and might not have what it takes to cope and lead his players out of it

I remember his last season at Barcelona being quite dull and being beaten in the CL by an awful 10-man Chelsea at home and even Fernando friggin Torres scoring. I'd say that's a failure.

Shit season yeah (squad needs an overhaul next season), but I reckon he'll bounce back considering he has unlimited funds at City

Failure relative to high expectations of full dominance with bad games here and there is very different than what we are seeing now. Don't forget this is not a cup competition of fine margins... this has been week in week out utter free fall in relegation form

For a guy who was hyped up to be the next best thing defensively, Josko Gvardiol sure looks frail as fuck defensively.

Man City spunked £100m on Grealish when they had Rogers and Palmer in their Academy.

Can Pep fix this side without opening up the chequebook?

the schadenfreude from their run is nice

Morgan Rogers is a class player — didn’t have a good game against us tho
