He had a chance to go to Bayern and realistically fight for that CL title, he had a chance to go to City and reunite with his former coach that launched him on European elite stage, definitely could've gotten an offer from some other European elite clubs like Juve or Barca. But he didn't care about any of that, he simply made his wage demands, the likes of Bayern and City couldn't match them, Juventus couldn't even dream about matching them and eventually he went to 2nd tire team United. The other guys on the list either didn't dedicate years to get into the bargaining position Sanchez had or were also interested in the team they signed for, don't remember the last time I saw this kind of planned out greed. When he will finish his career, we'll look back and see that the bigger part of his prime was spent planning how to maximize his earnings, imo this dedication to one goal is what made the difference in him being payed Messi/Neymar level kind of salary and way above Ronaldo
