not only that. Ox Chamberlin was at the wrong end of the thrashing. 4 with arsenal, 5 with Liverpool. jinx alert :D
Ox debuted for Liverpool in their biggest defeat in Manchester for 70 years. He also made his Arsenal debut in the 8-2 defeat to Man Utd, their record loss.

Sign and just chalk his debut off as an L.

BTW Agüero is now the Premier League's highest-scoring non-European ever with 124 goals, overtaking Dwight Yorke's 123. He also keeps his run of scoring in every home game against Liverpoop so far.

Suarez would have eaten that record by now.

It would be very close. He had 69 PL goals by the time he left Liverpool in 2014. Agüero has scored on average 0.67gpg, Suarez was 0.63 for Liverpool.
I dont think thats a fair comparison considering Suarez was playing on an absolute shit Liverpool side in his first three seasons. Had he not Liverpool I think they would have continued to improve the team and eventually win the PL.

In the first 2.5 seasons he was also a one-man team in terms of scoring, whereas Agüero has constantly had others around him at City who have shared the goals out. It wasn't until that final season he had support from Sturridge, Slippy G also chipped in with more than usual.

It would be interesting to see Suarez in Klopp's Liverpool with all their attacking football, he'd probably score 30, but Agüero is also a fantastic sniper and one player I wish we had signed.

But you see even when he is not apart of a one man time like in his last year at Liverpool or even at Barca he is still outscoring everyone.

Suarez should have never joined Barca. Sure he's won tons of trophies and has an insane goal scoring record however he'll always be in the shadow of Messi. If he had joined another team and became the main protagonist (PSG, Juventus, or Atleti for example) he would have been without a doubt considered Messi/Ronaldo tier.

Aguero is a great striker. Had he not had these injuries he would have been up there aswell. But atleast he has a moment that will forever be in football history.

Paddy Power gave odds of 66/1 on Ugo Ehiogu becoming the next Birmingham City manager. Ehiogu died in April :shifty:

Obviously they've had to make a grovelling apology.
