Apparently, Barcelona want to offer Rakitic plus cash. I think Rakitic would immediately improve our midfield. And Countinho, while one of my favs, doesn't really provide the goals/assists for the position he plays.

Rakitic will be great for you guys if you manage to snap him up, and an extra 40mil doesn't hurt at all. Even if Coutinho wanted to stay the deal is too sweet to turn down.
I really want to see a Suarez comeback, finish what he started, win the league and leave.

Also not good enough. Occasionally flashes of brilliance is not enough to be a full time barca starter. He has to be much more reliable and consistent in his output because his ghost mode is really really bad.

They would be idiots to not try for verratti imo. He is very balanced offensively and defensively, consistent, young and is a master passer. Would be stupid to let him go when their midfield is aging. I would keep Rakitic too. Rakitic, iniesta, Verratti, besquets and Gomes is a good balance between experience and young blood.
