EPL so strong, relegation teams qualify for CL quarters
Yeah won't hear the end of that, fucking media is going to be going on about it for the rest of the week. Sevilla missed their last three penalties. Irony is they missed their fourth tonight, chockers. But credit to Leicester they defended really well, they have a tall defence and if you thought our game was boring the Leicester game was no different. Here is a summary : sevilla cross, leicester head the ball way. Rinse and repeat.

This thread was bumped on redcafe when Leicester beat Sevilla yesterday.

at prem-faces. 1 team left in CL (and LC only went through because Sevilla missed 2 penalties), 1 team left in EL.
"t is only because the teams are concentrated in the league in order to quality for Europe next season. If they wanted to, they would have been winning in Europe."

Lol I hear that all the fuckin time. How mighty we are that we can win europe if we really want to. Sure city looked like they wanted it.

That comment is clearly sarcastic. Some people certainly think that way though.

Lets not act like petty rival fans. We have no rival in italy in the first place.

Roma played very well. They were comfortably killing Lyon in their own home. However the defence started to blunder like it was a cold night in manchester.

If they play the same way with the added intensity of the home ground, but dont make such idiotic blunders, they'll easily see of Lyon.

Wat? Roma wasn't "comfortably killing Lyon." The match was evenly balanced in the first half, both teams a little too open, and then Roma ran out of steam when Lyon upped the tempo in the second half.

Roma is lucky they did not lose 7-2. Lyon slaughtered them.

Still think they can turn it around at home if they avoid brainfarts. They are pretty good at the Olimpico.
