They sold one world class player but it's not like he alone was scoring goals, assisting and saving goals. There were others who were motivated to do the job. If you read the players and ranieri's interview on what pushed them every game and how they won the league was simple motivation. It was a mental thing, teamwork etc they reached their limits and can't go back. We saw a similar thing with verona in 1984 when they pulled a Leicester and won serie A. A season later they were nowhere near. It's hard to keep the same mentality.

Vidal is the only obvious one of somewhat similar ilk who comes to mind. With other players comparisons get really difficult because different qualities.
