Wouldnt be so sure about that really. Union got some luck atm and Zlatan to save theyre ass when they need it. Still think they can get the top4 if the others start to choke like Liverpool did today.

All offense, gunho, fuck that no defensive approach, but to be fair to him he is much more successful basketball coach then Klopp is as a football coach.

Is he? It's so hard to judge success in a sport like basketball next to football. Because by winning metrics, Klopp and his 2 Bundesliga titles, and two manager of the year awards, and CL final played in, trump anything Dantoni has done... yet, there are only ever a couple sides that challenge in a sport with such financial disparity and no salary cap, so winning (aside from maybe CL or a league like the 1990s Serie A) is far less impressive.

Then again, basketball is probably the sport most like football in terms of being dominated by a few teams, but that is more so luck of the draft, as a single superstar can change the fortunes of a team so quickly.

American football, Ice hockey, and Baseball are the major sports with by far the most parity.

I wasnt considering CL final with Klopp when saying that, but D'Antoni with Suns was more impressive acheivement IMO then Klopp with Dortmund league titles, firstly because NBA is just flat out more competetive then Bundesliga in amounts of top teams you compete with considering kind of lesser teams D'Antoni has coached. Plus his system leaves a lasting effect in those teams after he left.


Anyways, I really like Klopp and wish him success tho, dont care about D'Antoni, but the german has allways been incredibly one note in his approach, he wont ever change. Doubt his success rate will change either unless he suddenly coaching best players, and even then it will take a season or two until he stagnates because his approach is fairly easy to adapt to. I noticed that mostly in that EL final he lost to Sevilla, Sevilla had an extra gear tactically, while his Liverpool seriously was just stuck in same motion hoping it will work.
