It's the same shit every season with them. When will the board even take note? Failure to reach the CL is probably the best way for Arsenal to win trophies in the coming years.
There is an interview of their owner saying they aren't there for trophies but money.

What do you expect?

English fans are thick, though. As soon as they win a little bit against mickey mouse teams, they think they're on top of the world. JUst look at the United fans now.

They aren't all that stupid, but it's normal if you win a few games to feel more positive about things. Take this forum for example.

Of course there is a greater sense of entitlement and delusion of grandeur with EPL fans. Fans of those teams about my age who saw United and Arsenal winning for long periods of time know it's simply not good enough. They don't want to watch products, but see their teams winning trophies.

This forum is the opposite of that. We keep on winning but people remain negative and pessimistic.

:D But it calms down with a few wins in a row.

We are really spoiled, let's be honest. Heading for 6 consecutive scudetti. The problem is the fixation on the CL, something we should obviously be looking to win, but something that is difficult to win even for great squads on top form.

Well because we're only winning in a dead league, like literally dead league compared to late 90s - early 00s, plus all our rivals are jokes and there's the lack of appreciation from the international audience too.

How could we be enthusiastic with it? Especially after we too already broke every records possible in this dead league.

This is exactly what I was talking about.

Many fans would give their left arm to win this "dead league" once let alone six times in a row.

There is a huge amount of insecurity in your post too. Who cares what the international audience think?

Is this a dead league?
No, it's just a popular narrative to have at the moment. Serie A has been on the up for the past couple of seasons when talking about quality. When there is a superior team it's easy to blame the competition.

Just look how easily Conte is blowing away the competition in the PL. Are people saying that PL is shit because of that? No.

True. Winning the CL has become an obsession for many Juve fans which is understandable I guess but it's not something that should take away the joy of other wins and successes.

I disagree quite a bit. I've never seen such delusion as I see with English fans.
