Honestly doubt there is litterally no one but you and zizinho who thinks Lemina is in Kante's level.

i said Leminas potential is higher than Kantes and that its not worth giving Lemina away for Kante when there were those Kante-Lemina swap rumours at the beginning of the mercato. didnt compare their current level. also said he wouldnt be a starter here over Khedira which some people were thinking back then. and he really is nothing special and a limited player, really glad we didnt spend 25M on him

Kante would have been fantastic here as a CDM between Khedira and Pjanic, at least while we waited for Marchisio's return. And even after, having Khedira-Pjanic-Marchisio-Kante-Lemina-Sturaro would have given us fantastic options in the midfield for rotation throughout the season.

I'd much rather have Kante back there than Hernanes.

i wouldnt want a terrible passer like him playing infront of defense. i think if we had him he would be a Khedira backup, so a btb CM, which is a position i want to see Lemina get more time at. with Kante, his minutes there would drop even more and its not worth it to me, which is why im in some way glad we didnt sign another CM in the summer
