Of course it is. I'm really amazed how faithful they are despite the reality. Lfc winning bpl just seems fantasy. It's also funny for me because my flatmate is a lpool fan. He even has the same faith in Ings like Enron even though the guy hasn't played for a year because of a nasty injury and he's nothing special overall.

or finding a beast of a coach who can bring the best out of his players. some former atleti players like costa, turan, filipe luis or even miranda failed to replicate their madrid form with their next club.
btw the pogba-higuain deals make our squad considerably more expensive than the likes of atleti, roma and napoli.

Simeone and his tactical organization is defenitely main reason, essentially see him as best coach. But due to the conforming systemic play, people tend to underrate the clear quality they have in players. Miranda and Costa defenitely not flopping, both doing real well, Costa leading top scorer chart and his first season was excellent really.
Arda Turan turned out exactly as expected, bench / rotation option playing behind best attack in the game, and one of the best ever. It was his career choice and he has to live with it, and actually this season he has been doing well, scored in like 4 or 5 games in a row.
Filipe Luis simply was not content playing in Chelsea (Costa and Courtois both unhappy living and playing in England too)so its prudent to call it quits quickly and go back to where you belong the most. He is not a top drawer player anyways, more like a physical and solid fullback.
Majority of the reason why Atleticos squad is that cheap is because it seems a third of them are home grown. And rest tend to be young players bought cheap enough figures in today's market.
