well, you must have missed the game towards the end of the season when Marchisio went down, few of which were without Khedira too, and Pogba was bossing. or are you gonna say now that Hernanes and Asamoah/Lemina is a great enough support
I didnt realise you would lower yourself to the level in which you deliberately 'forget' the original argument, and act as if it wasent said. Which again, just proves how you are a massive devote pogby fanboy, who quite simply cannot take it when we arent all sucking his cock and declaring him the greatest prince in the world of football.

For all you other people : My original point was that we started the season without Khedira and Marchisio, Vidal and Pirlo gone. But we had the 100million Dab who also demanded the 10 cause he's full off confidence. Nothing wrong with that btw.
However, he was dogshit bad the first months. The team was bad and he absolutely couldnt carry the team. Leading to this pathetic shit in adding "+5" to the 10 on his jersey.

Marchisio, worlds best supporting midfielder, came back from injury, and suddenly the team started working. it got the machine running again. Khedira joined in flawlessly. Pogba was still average at first, but better then hernanes for example. Players like Sturaro played mighty games in europe suddenly.

We started a 26 match unbeaten run. Pogba found himself in a working midfield and improved dramatically and exponentially to very high levels. Other players like Hernanes also started improving a great deal. The team worked and took its shape. When Marchisio was missing in the return leg against Bayern, a much improved hernanes held his own, but a world class performance of Khedira stole the show, the german showing his high intelligence by filling in the blanks in Hernanes play to cover for Marchisio's abscence. When Khedira went off, the midfield collapsed a good deal. Pogba was on, but that didnt help at all.

When marchisio was out again after 23 games unbeaten, khedira kept filling in for two more. The final game had both khedira and marchisio out and was against the mighty Carpi. We lost the next cause scudetto, and nailed samp to the wall in the meaningless last game.

So what could we see ? Marchisio had a dramatic impact when returned. Khedira provided to be absolutely incredibly important in case claudio was out, so much that he made Hernanes look good vs Bayern.

How many games did Pogba shine with both Khedira and Marchisio out ? a few minnows in serie a. Thats it.

Its time to stop beeing such a welcumming fanboy. Its time to end this debate because you crossed the line with that previous post. Pogba is an absolute marvellous player in a working midfield that supports him and ADDS more then any other cm can possibly add.
But he can not carry a team.

Fucking deal with it.

and i made a long reply to it when we talked in the Pogba thread which you ignored and just went on with "its obvious to anyone that blah blah blah", and i certainly wont write the same reply again. but ill say one thing again, if you seriously believe we suddenly started playing well once Marchisio was back, then ill advise you to rewatch some of our games back then, because Marchisio certainly wasnt as big a factor as you seem believe. he was important but the team did just fine without him on numerous occasions. if you want to bother, then go find my posts in the Pogba thread (or was it some other thread, cant remember) and respond to it. i cant take you serious this way

There are exactly two players in the world that could possibly carry the team Juve was for the first two months of last season tho.

I agree with you that he didnt really perform consistently until Marchisio came back but I am not sure I agree with you when you say he cannot carry a team. What do you mean by carrying a team? Does it mean organize a hectic midfield?

His role was never to organize the midfield, distribute and control the tempo so he is not going to make a midfield that lacked a plan suddenly organized its not his job. He will suffer in such an environment. During those times we were experimenting with formations and kept changing shape continuously. Marchisio's return allowed us to return to the 3-5-2 and play like we used to and it took us a few games (even when we won because they were mostly unconvincing wins at first) to start seriously performing like a team. Any B2B or CAM midfielder would have struggled in a midfield where no one knows what they are supposed to do. We were in disarray as a unit and the team as a whole struggled.

By carry the team for someone in his role it should mean being a force of creativity and goals consistently and I think in an organized midfield with a clear game plan he is very capable of doing so more than any other B2B. As soon as our midfield had a clear plan Pogba started bossing going forward. I think Pogba can very much shine a lot even if utd's midfield lacks players in the quality of Marchisio and Khedira. Mou will have a clear game plan and will drill those plans in his players to have a functioning system and Pogba will shine and be the guy carrying their team along with Ibra.

The defending today was painful for a Juve fan eyes.

If nothing unusual happens, Chelsea has this. It doesn't really matter if there are 1-2 teams with better players (are there?). Conte, especially with no Europe, will tactically own this league. And he's also a maniac who'll push his players over their limit.

I guess I can already congratulate Chelsea for another EPL title. Zlatan, Pogba and Mourinho will certainly make top 3. Everything else is up for grabs.
It's between Conte and Guardiola.

If West Ham doesn't tighten up on the left side of their defense, they are going to get killed.

Way too much space for Willian
