How is Mourinho a media fool? He plays with the media all the time and sometimes even makes them look foolish. Unlike a lot of other imbeciles who talk nonsense and make a name for themselves in the media, Mourinho actually backs up what he says on the football pitch time and time again. Sure he might not be the most traditional and classy manager in history, however he is one of the best and most interesting in the world's game. I wouldn't think twice about trading Giraudo and Capello for Mourinho...not even a second.
How is making dull one-liners and acting stupid owning the media?

Plus I think Capello would have won that season with Chelsea as well, and might have done even better in the CL. Everyone talks about him like he's supernatural, while most agree he's CL porto win was more luck then skill.

He's buys are good, but he's made mistakes there too.

Oh and why not Benitez? He always put the worlds most skilled manager evur up for a good challenge with a much less talented squad.

What the hell are you always talking about anyways? How many Cl does Capello have in his coaching cabinet, yes thats right, same number as Mourinho
He won Cl with more luck than skill? Of cos u need luck to win Cl but he has done it and how do you know Capello would have won the league with Chelsea and what do you mean might have done better in Cl? They both lost to Liverpool and whilst we sneaked 1-0 victories over Bayern, Chelsdea wiped the floor with them, only allowing them back int the time with 2 minutes to spare

All assumptions, no substance. The facts are there for all to see...showing you Mourinho won the UEFA Cup and the Champions League in successive seasons with a side completely off the radar. You can watch the likes of Deco, Carvalho, Ferreira and others at top European clubs who were all under the reign of Jose who essentially made them what they are today. More luck than skill? I'm sorry, two consecutive European tournament wins is not luck...no matter how you look at it.

And sure, everybody makes mistakes, including Capello who lost to who else but Benitez last season as denco correctly pointed out. Rafa and Mourinho are both top quality managers managers, and IMO they have the progressive approach to win the Champions League in this day and age, unlike Capello. Like Mourinho or not, you have to concede he is one of the best, if not the best, manager in the world right now.

I don't think he made those players. I don't think Deco is what he is today just because he's been coached by Mourinho, no way. In that case, perhaps he could come visit me for a week...

He got nice seedings, and an UEFA cup win is imo not that impressive. The CL win is, yet he failed to win with Chelsea. "You can't win every time" yet two trophys with a far less superior team is not luck? Is he the 12, 13 and 14 man on the pitch? Of course he was lucky, yes he has skills. But I don't think for a second that he would still be considered the 'by far worlds best coach' if he'd stay with Porto instead of getting financially invincible.

He's good, he understands the game. Is he the best coach in the world? Possible. Is he that far ahead of the likes of rafa, don fabio, hiddink? I for one don't think so...
