Per this thread:

http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13503

if the rumors are true, Capello may be off to Real Madrid (again) ... or ManU ... at the end of the season.

Whom would you like to see as his replacement?

(We'll make this a vBookie event as soon as we can get odds. ;) )

EDIT: Clarification: this is a who should question, not a who will. For one, "will" implies that it is not a rumor -- which is unconfirmed. For another, "will" is better suited for a vBookie event.

It's not about who SHOULD replace him, in which case my vote would go to Mourinho without a shadow of doubt... I don't think it is likely that Don Fabio is leaving after this season, but in case he does I believe Prandelli would be he's successor. He's record with pretty much every team he has ever coached definitely speaks for him, and his contract only runs this season. Naturally fiorentina is trying to extend he's contract, but since this topics was all about if's...

Mourinho should be his replacer. José has everything what it takes to succeed in Serie A and would add something to this Juve side. We're already arrogant thanks to Capello, but Mourinho would make us a hell of a lot more concentrated. However, I don't think Mourinho will come to Juventus just yet, as it looks like he's having way too much fun in London. Got to love José.

Why is not Le Guen in that list?
Ursula Le Guin, you mean the science fiction writer? Nah, that would be more appropriate for the fantasy world required of an Inter coach. :p

Yeah, every poll almost invariably starts out with posts of "why isn't <insert name here> on the list?"

I'll try to keep this under 10 to be of any value.

I agree. I think Mourinho should replace him myself.

But I do want to keep this as a poll to "who should."

"Who will" is more of a vBookie question, IMO: put your :money: where your mouth is.

On second thought, Mourinho might be tempted to join Juventus, because it would be the first huge club he'd coach. Chelsea might be a big club now, but they're still nowhere near the institution that is Juventus. He has also coached in Portugal, Spain and England and might want to get to know the Italian league as well.

    Capello will leave for sure.

I voted for Vialli, even though I have to admit I don't know much about his tactics...
He's a huge Del Piero fan. I used to like his Chelsea side.

We'd be exciting to watch, that's for sure and TBH that still is an important aspect for me. I'm not sure about his results though and since we're Italian that is what matters most. He did well at Chelsea, but sucked at most other clubs he coached.
