and i disagree with offspring being on this list, sure they're not the band they used to be, but they were a hit in the mid 90's with a great album in smash. definetly wouldn't call them worthless. as well as coldplay, police, and beastie boys.

It means they played bad. That day, the vocalist was supposedly sick and his vocals were just off.. I don't know what was wrong with the guitars, perhaps stunned by playing for the first time in an MTV awards show?
