my mate has a 52" LCD and i have to say i find the burn-in a major fucking distraction. playing Tiger Woods and you get the swing meter burned into the screen for about an hour after playing.

no such prob with my Panasonic Viera plasma TV

That's a myth. My 42" Samsung LCD screen is the biggest proof.

that is what i thought, yet i have had no burn-in atall with my plasma and my mates LCD is fucking brutal

So far I have had no burn-in on my plasma, had it a while and I play games on it quite a bit. I also did not wait the 120 hours before I played games. I did however wait about a week or so with running my TV almost all day, just as a pre-caution.

I have had my Viera for nearly 3 years,no burn-in at all. in fact it is as clear as the day i bought it
