HEY, Splurgeo, bought the $299 PS3 160 and KZ3 pack yesterday to upgrade from my old 80 gig set.

As I told you, the wireless was better with the thin ones, I have no less than an 85% signal with the new one, whereas with the old fat one I had no better than 55%.

I'm glad.

But according to the specs, there were no changes to the wireless specifications.

I don't know. maybe with the streamlined chipset things are better.

Either way, I am happy for you

Cloud Game Saves are now available to Playstation Plus members starting today.

Its a very cool feature and here is why.

Its easy to say, well, hust get a thumb drive and back up your saves. Well, I'm sure most of you have come across a situation where there are certain game saves (I know I had this issue when I tried to import my game saves from my busted 60GB to my new 320GB), are actually protected and cannot be transferred.

Well, with the Cloud feature, those protected save files can be saved. Not only that, but if you want to go to a friends house and upload a save file from the cloud server, you just have to sign into that PS3 using your account, go into your cloud files, downlaod it, and then sign back in using the original ID of your buddy's PS3

I like the feature. Its a nice bonus.

I just wish they came out with this at the time I got my new PS3, since there were about 5 game save files that I couldn't copy and transfer over

I transferred everything fine from my old fat 80 to my new 160.

Did you literally copy onto a thumb drive though and not do the data transfer option?
Yes, that is what I tried to do. Several of the files are security protected though, meaning that I was not allowed to transfer them. It all depended on the game. I had 50 save files, but could only transfer about 45 of them
