Yes, that is what I tried to do. Several of the files are security protected though, meaning that I was not allowed to transfer them. It all depended on the game. I had 50 save files, but could only transfer about 45 of them
Ohhh, all of mine transferred, although I streamlined a lot of my shit, deleting saves of games I knew I'd never play again, like Flower.

Also, I had to disable my account on one and reactivate on the other before the transfer.

I know that was for the online games, but I think it also made mention of the protected games.

I know that it said something about the protected game saves would be transferred as well...

I was wondering what games do any of you here play online with? i tend to play Call of duty, fifa mainly. but i find the community on the xbox much more advanced as you have to pay for it and my friend has made so many friends playing texas hold em etc.

Why did you get a new one?

Wasn't it Wahdan7?
Funny story.

I sent it to get repaired before the revolution. Lucky me, cons stole it from the store  and they gave a brand new one as a compensation.

Blue Ray, 3D technology, free online gaming, less mechanical issues than xBox, Netflix, Interwebs, MP3s, Porns, Pics.
I don't think I can get Netflix here in India. I got my PC for the last 3.

The problem is the that the games themselves are about $55. Pretty expensive IMO. But the online play seems interesting. Plus, I don't have an LCD TV. I'll most likely connect it to my 23" 1080p LCD monitor. Not sure if that'll do the PS3 justice.

I play on a 25 in TV and it looks fine. PS3 also has a DVD quality upgrade thing where it makes movie quality better even on non-HD televisions like I have. Quit giving yourself reasons not to do something. You can put your porn or movies on a hard drive and watch them on your TV through the PS3.

About the game prices, they are steep. I just don't buy that many games.
