According to the pundits in the industry, many of them are overwhelmingly predicting that Uncharted 2 will sweep all of the Game of the Year awards.

As far as Uncharted, I enyoed the production value and the dialogue. The graphics, needless to say, were top notch. It was a good 9 hour thrill ride. The inclusion of Trophies certainly helped. At least UC2 is going to have multiplayer now. I was in the original Beta for it,and it was a blast to play.

I have to boot up the MAG Beta again when I get home. I'm getting creamed out there :D. I want to start up a Juventuz clan once the game actuallycomes out in March.

That's pretty bold claim considering it will be going up against 3 other great titles like Infamous, Batman:AA, and street fighter. Also it's early to judge that when games like Modern warfare 2 haven't come out yet.

Meanwhile, as an owner of an 360 as well, I have Halo 3: ODST to look forward to.

In other words, a 4 hour single player campaign with Multi-player tacked on using a majority of Halo 3 maps.

For 60 bucks.

Really??

Has anyone heard any kind of rumors about the new PS3 slim, has been ...
ahem... unlocked? Or any time soon?
Unlocked as far as what? Being able to burn games and play them?

You can't dude. Blu Ray doesn't allow for that.

Besides, the new PS3 slim doesn't allow for a different OS, such as Linux, like the old PS3's do

Have you gotten all the blast shards yet? I'm 3 away from finding them
No I think I have a bit more than that to find. Can't be bothered though. I still have to finish Fallout 3, Saints row 2, and the last stages of uncharted.

not to mention I have something like 25-30 DS games, and around 10 PSP games yet still to play. And these games are those long 20+ hours ones.

I have Fallout 3 for the 360. When the "Broken Steel" DLC comes out, make sure you get it. It is by far the best DLC out of all of them that they have released. It has the best side quest, plus it increases the level cap from 20 to 30.

I have a PSP as well. There are games that I bought that I haven't even opened yet, such as Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and Final Fantasy Tactics, which is probably my favorite Final Fantasy game out of all of them. Thank God they put the PS1 version of it in the Playstation Store. I still have my strategy guide from it.

wait you can "unlock" old ps3's?
No, you can't.

But with the old PS3's supprting an OS like Linux, you were able to run various emulators for old school stuff such as NES, Super NES, Genesis, and Turbo Grafix 16 games through the emulator.

I'm not sure if he means "unlocking" in terms of being able to play Japanese games on a European PS3 or US Games, etc.....

If that is the case, the PS3 has always been region free, so you can import games from whereever you want and play them
