will the ps4 ever be able to play blu-rays/videos? as i believe at the moment you cannot use the ps4 as a media device (which is gay as fuck and one of the main reasons I haven't got round to buying one yet)

Services are gradually being restored. I'm reading now about some people being able to get through and others aren't, so hopefully it'll be up and working by the time I get home from work tomorrow.

USB music player....does that mean they are gonna allow usb use in general? Because it would be swell if one could watch series&movies on it again, and more importantly update my PES2015 with option files through usb as I been doing for past decade, and which the frigging PS4 doesnt allow for some bizzare reason...

Did you have to do anything to get it up and running again?? AskPlaystation on twitter seems like they haven't got a clue in helping others out.

There is a fix alright.

You need to go to settings - network - set up new connection.

All settings should be set to automatic except for the one titled 'MTU' (or something like that) which needs to be manually updated to 1473.

Been working for me since yesterday . I have a question, hoping one of you can answer it for me. I know you need Playstation Plus to play online. I also have two brothers that both use the PS4. So now would all three accounts need separate subscriptions to Playstation Plus or do we need just one for the console itself?
