We were forced to flee twice when I was coaching a uni team a few years ago 2:
In Germanys lowest league you got Teams that get promoted because Referees are afraid to whistle anything against them. Usually those teams consist of "foreigners" only. If you play against those you already know that the assigned referee will not show up.

Anyone has any idea how to get to back to at least minimum playing form? I played (association) football for 9 years, quit when I started uni and started 5-a-side for a year until I destroyed my ligaments. I had to rest for about a year and havent played any serious football for the last 3 years. Last week I joined my friends on some "village" tournament (5-a-side) and I could play decent enough when defending, but when we played attack I had no clue where to go
Attacking runs are not that difficult if you always try to envision where the player in possession of the ball is able to play the ball to. It is a good idea to indicate with your arms where you want to receive the ball to. If your team mates all have similar passing skills this works out very well.

If there is one thing I can do then it is to deliver a pass to striker even when there are only very small gaps between opponents and this frustrates me when I make a run and I know I would be able to play the ball but my team mates break play up and pass back because of inability
