Dani (Daniel Da Cruz Corvalho or something in full) from Ajax in the late 90's...I think he's now at Atlético Madrid for some unknown reason....

Dani is Portugese

And As far as Brolin is concerned he got
a big knee injury much like the one DEl Piero got....

he got this in 94 when qualifying to the Euro96.
He was away from football for nearly a year.....

He came back claiming he had fully recovered

But the Doctors thought otherwise.....

He couldn't hold down a starting place in Parma so he went to Leeds....
Where he also couldn't hold on a starting place.....
So he went to Swizterland where he was playing ok.....
Got bought by C Palace and played English Divison 1.

Ended his carear with a bloody collison.
And then called it quits.....

Brolin's injury was very much like Del Piero's.
Brolin greatest assest was his speed with the ball. Which he never could recover after the injury. So he had to play a medicocre DM a task for a once great Playmaker far to humilating to withstand.....

It is not so much him
getting fat since
there are a lot of players who have the same figure in football who are short compact and dynamic Maradona and Gatuso to mention two.....

I must say the biggest dissapointments for me are....

Andrea Pirlo
(who raises any third class team to second class single handly)
But who at Inter and Milan is miserable...
even this season.........

Alessio Tachinardi
Who was really could and was about to become the best Defensive Midfileder in the world back in 99 the natural aprentice to Deschamps.... But then he just stopped developing completley.
He didn't get worse just stopped developing.....

Then Just about every prmosing player to arrive in Napoli after 98.

Yes
Fonseca was like the superstar of Napoli and Roma before he got here.....

Esnaider he was never that could he was very incosistant at Atletico and buying him was always a gamble.....

Paolo Sosa had some great years at Juve and then at Dortmund....
He was also instrumental for PAO..........
