You want to read someone praising a player or breaking down someone. You don't want total objectiveness, believe me.

Thats why those kind of articles are only found in the OPINION columns in any newspaper

But yeah, I agree with you

Reporters, though, should try to be as objective as possible. Sometimes thats hard to reach
I am objective when it comes to reports or rating,I don't overreact like other members here.I prefer Zlatan play instead of Del piero, that made others think I am Zlatanist, that's another thing.but members like Seven and Andy, keep overrating del piero and underating Zlatan.I am not like that.
If you really want an objective reporter?try Domenic

Please, Andy does not overrate Del Piero and quite frankly neither do I. Zlatan sucked at the beginning of the season and now we get bashed because we said so?

So.. are we about to get it done then?

Perhaps you should work on a final list pronto!
Oh, I'm all for it!

But alas -- I don't feel like I should dictate who makes the cut of the list and who doesn't.

Though I can start with Fabi's consolidated list ...

Greg
denco
Stuart
Andy
Dominic
Jeeks
Tom
Azzurri 7
Espectro
Isha
Vinni
Seven
Zlatan
Cronios
Holdon
Baggio
Sallyinzaghi
Fli
Ali
John #10
Snoop
ZhiXin
Rami
Perhaps as a first pass filter, I can PM the members on this list to verify that they would actually be interested in such a task. That might cut it down a little.

"we get bashed"?

I don't think I did that (bash you for that at least).anyway there are people that only cares about Goals and assists,I don't like that.the team play, passes and other things are also important, I saw the overreaction suddenly in Livoron match, how everybody praised Zlatan to the heaven,I don't like that also.you know what I am talking about?

Yes, but the thing is Snoop, Zlatan really was horrible in the beginning of the season and Del Piero really was the better play. I couldn't help that. The only impressive game I saw Zlatan play in september-october was the game against Brugge.

No offense guys, however can we cut the chit-chat, secondary objectives and all and actually get this project going?

Greg, first thing to do is in your mod forum set up a thread with that list and have the mods decide on who they want, then if you want to please run the list by me. I will send you a list of the people I would choose as well, and you mods can sort it out from there. This is the first step to this task...I feel like I'm project manager on the Apprentice here.

After selecting the right people to do this rating system we need Marty and Keith to come up with some sort of plan for WHERE and HOW to implement this idea...I have no clue what coding Keith has to do or what even the possibilities are for such a program.

Wow things have progressed in the the past 12 hours.....I love all the ideas you guys proposed, I am just loving all this cuz I believe that we should to become independent, and I believe that we have the resources and talents needed. Rating system, newsletter, columns...etc are all ambitious, and I would love to jump on board on any of these. I think it is about time to take things in our own hands, forget about juventus.com. Forget about goal.com and their match analysis. Forget about Italia 4 or whatever its called....I would love to see this site one day be the ultimate source for any juventini in the world for any piece of info. Perhaps I am too ambitious but a 1000 mile journey starts with a step, so if we can start Andy's idea of the rating system and implement it correctly and hassle-free, I believe we would be on the correct path.

The ability to decline without ever being asked, and to subliminally send answer to said unknown / unasked question through the internet without even ones self being aware of such an occurance is an interesting ideal....
