Klaas Jan Huntelaar (born August 12, 1983 in Drempt, Gelderland, Netherlands) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a striker for Ajax Amsterdam and Netherlands, where he has replaced Ruud van Nistelrooy as striker after he fell out with coach Marco van Basten. He is seen as a rising star in Dutch football, having scored 33 goals in the 2005/06 Eredivisie campaign, making him top scorer. His nickname is 'The Hunter'.

Club career

PSV

In 2000, aged 16, Huntelaar joined PSV Eindhoven’s academy and established himself as a prolific goalscorer for their youth team.

He made his debut for PSV during the first half of the 2002-2003 season but this was to prove his one and only Eredivisie appearance for the club.

De Graafschap / AGOVV

Having failed to establish himself in the first team he was loaned out to De Graafschap to gain experience. He made 9 Eredivisie appearances for 'the Super Farmers’ but failed to score.

In the summer of 2003 Huntelaar was again loaned out. This time to AGOVV Apeldoorn in the Dutch First Division. He was an instant success scoring 26 times in his 35 league appearances and finished the season as the divisions top goalscorer.

SC Heerenveen

After the player turned down the opportunity to sign a new contract with PSV SC Heerenveen moved in to sign him for a transfer fee of €100,000. The following season he scored 17 goals in 31 matches to help Heerenveen qualify for the UEFA Cup. 2005/06 saw him score 17 goals in 15 matches, form which earned him a mid-season transfer to Ajax, who paid € 9 million + future extensives for the player. A substantial sum went to rivals PSV Eindhoven as a result of the training compensation rule imposed by FIFA.

Ajax

Huntelaar had an immediate impact at Ajax, scoring perhaps his most spectacular goal of the season, a bicycle kick in injury time of the KNVB Cup semifinal against Roda JC, which squared the match and allowed Ajax to go on to victory after the extra periods. Huntelaar then went on to score a brace, including the winner, against PSV Eindhoven to bring Ajax its 16th KNVB Cup.

Huntelaar was the first player to score a goal at Arsenal F.C.'s new Emirates Stadium in a testimonial match for Dennis Bergkamp on July 22nd, 2006 - a match Ajax ended up losing 2-1 (although in the second half, which started off with Ajax leading 1-0, 'legends' like Johan Cruijff, Marco van Basten and Ian Wright played instead).

Huntelaar started the 2006/07 campaign by scoring a brace against Copenhagen in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 3rd qualifying round.

Possible transfer from Ajax

Ajax recently issued a hands-off warning following speculation that Newcastle United was interested in signing the player in the January transfer window. [1] Manchester United and Liverpool are also said to be very interested in the player. Juventus, Arsenal, Olympique Lyonnais and Valencia are also interested in signing the striker.

On 22th March 2007, he told in an interview to the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" that his idols were Ruud Gullit and Dennis Bergkamp and today he loves Filippo Inzaghi, AC Milan's striker.

FC Barcelona are also interested in signing the striker, with a reported 4 year €15 million deal in the works.

International career

Despite being in the preliminary squad, Huntelaar was not chosen for the Dutch national team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Coach Marco van Basten explained that he felt Huntelaar would benefit from more experience and from playing at the UEFA Under 21 football championships, going as far as to say that it was up to Huntelaar to "show us there that [by not selecting Huntelaar] we did not do the right thing".[citation needed] While Holland went on to score no goals against quality opposition at the World Cup in Germany, Huntelaar led the Dutch to victory as the top-scorer of the Under 21 tournament with four goals, including a wonderful strike in the semi-final against France and a brace in the final against Ukraine. Huntelaar was named in the UEFA Team of the Tournament as a striker.

Marco van Basten decided to call Huntelaar as his starting striker in the Dutch National squad's friendly against the Republic of Ireland on August 16, 2006. Huntelaar paid immediate dividends by scoring two goals (another one was disallowed by a controversial off-side call by the referee, denying him the hat-trick), and making two assists, in Holland's 4-0 victory.

My comments on Huntelaar: This guy is a scoring machine. He young and will leave Ajax one day and possibly join Juve this summer for 16m €. We'll have the players to feed this guy and goals will come in tons. Trezeguet is not getting any younger and lacks motivation. Huntelaar would be the ideal replacement at age 23.

    Name: Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva
    Club: Internacional(Brazil)---> AC Milan
Date of birth: September 2, 1989
Place of birth: Pato Branco, Brazil
    Height: 1.79m
    Weight: 71kg
    Position: Striker
    Number: 11

    CLUB INFO:

    2001-2005 Internacional(youth and senior club)

Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva (born September 2, 1989, in Pato Branco, Paraná), better known for his nickname Alexandre Pato is a Brazilian striker who has been playing for Internacional since 2002 . His nickname comes from the city where he was born, called Pato Branco.

    Early Life

Alexandre started playing indoor soccer (futsal) in his hometown at the age of 3. Soon his ability became known all around the south Brazilian state of Paraná and after being praised by many of his managers, the teenager went to Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, to try out for Sport Club Internacional. In 2002, at the age of 13, he moved there and started sharing housing with 83 other teenagers that, much like him, wanted to make a name for themselves in the Inter first team.

    Career

After a contract settlement that boosted the player's salary from R$3,000 to R$25,000 and extended his stay on the team until 2009 with a contract fee of 18 million euros in case a foreign club wants to sign him, Alexandre was finally considered ready to start a game in the Brazilian soccer league.

On his team debut, at the age of 17, Alexandre helped Internacional play an excellent game, a 4-1 win over Palmeiras on November 26, 2006. Alexandre had 3 assists and scored a goal. His appearance put all the spotlights on the young player and created expectations and comparisons with another southern Brazillian superstar, Ronaldinho Gaúcho.

The fans of Internacional now count on the young player to help the team win the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup. Pato scored Internacional's first goal of the competition on 13th December in the semi-final game against Al-Ahly Cairo, helping the team win 2-1 and a spot in the final. The player was taken off the field during the second half because of a cramp on his right leg and his substitute scored the second, and winning goal, of the game.

Before his team's match against Barcelona FC in the final of the competition, Barça's Brazilian star Ronaldinho identified Pato as a player to watch in Brazilian football. In the final against Barcelona, Pato failed to impress and was substituted before his teammate Adriano Gabiru scored the winner and ensured the title for Internacional.

He helped Brazil win the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay, which qualified the country for both the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. He was Brazil's leading scorer in the tournament five 5 goals.

He has been linked in this press with a move to several high profile clubs including AC Milan and Manchester United.

My opinion on Pato is that he's the next big thing coming out of Brazil and we shouldn't let this star in the making slip from our fingers like others did. Pato is a mix of Kakà and Del Piero. Juve scout Sensible rates him very high.

2006 - South American Footballer of the Year

    Personal- and Football life:
    Colo Colo

He began with the youth squads of Colo-Colo at the age of 12. His debut in first division came on August 1, 2004, against archrival Universidad de Chile. A week later he scored his first two goals against Cobresal. In the same season, "Matigol" scored a spectacular goal against O'Higgins, which immortalized him to fans. He would go on to score a total of eight goals in Clausura tournament of 2004, and was named best young player of the season. In the 2006 Apertua tournament, Fernández helped Colo-Colo capture their 24th title. In December of the same year he helped Colo-Colo reached the final of the Copa Sudamericana 2006,where they lost to CF Pachuca of Mexico, scoring nine goals in six games for the tournament. He left Colo-Colo on a high note winning the 2006 Clausura tournament and he was named the South American Footballer of the Year.

    Villareal
On October 18, 2006, Fernández was signed by Spanish side Villarreal CF for a fee of 8.700.000 euros to give Villarreal a more offensive flair. Despite reports that Real Madrid and Chelsea were also interested, he agreed to terms with Villarreal and arrived at Valencia airport on December 27, 2006. He debuted in January 7, 2007, against Valencia. Villarreal's coach, Manuel Pellegrini, is also Chilean. So far he has not attained the same level he had playing for Colo Colo although this is attributed to fatigue from not having a break and beginning the second half of la liga immeaditely after finishing the season with Colo Colo. He has however still managed to be involved in nearly all of Villareal's goals and it is only a matter of time until he reaches his potential. He has a buyout clause of 50 million Euros.

    Off the field
Off the field, Matí is a laid-back, shy person, who likes to play Playstation and listen to tropical music. Fernández is a family man, who is fully focused on playing football. He likes to lead his team on the field by example. He is known for his free kicks, powerful shots, great vision, and magnificent ball handling. He has been compared to fellow Chilean David Pizarro and Argentinians Sergio Agüero (from Atletico Madrid) and Lionel Messi (from FC Barcelona). Chilean media reports are referring to him as the "Chilean Maradona".

Why I want this player to join Juve:
Matías Fernandez is the next big thing! His moves and shots, makes him a real 'numba 10' (even though he has never played in that number), that we need imo. I know we got Ale, but he is not young anymore and i think that Matí could be a kind of succesor! He is one of my biggest Juve-transfer-dreams ever ! :p

    National Team:

    2006-present Croatia 11 (2)

Statisitcs are from Wikipedia.org and valid till September 2006.

    Personal Info:

Luka Modrić [ˈluːka ˈmɔːdritɕ] (born September 9, 1985) is a Croatian football midfielder who is currently playing for one of the country's top clubs, Dinamo Zagreb.

Modrić was born in Zadar and started his professional career in 2003 by playing for Zrinjski Mostar in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the young age of 18, he became one of their best players and was also their player of the year in 2004. He later, on numerous occasions, stated that "one who can play in Bosnian league, can play anywhere", referring to the physical nature of Premier League. Then he transferred to Inter Zaprešić and played one season for them, bringing that small team to 2nd place in the league, before joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2005.

    Playing Info

In his team Dinamo Zagreb, he usually plays as playmaker, on the left side of the field, to make up for the lack of lefties in the team. But, his natural position is central midfielder, and he plays as playmaker solely due to his capabilities to cover that role as well, and to leave room for designated defensive midfielders in Dinamo's 4-3-2-1 formation.

He uses both feet to play, and his biggest strength is his swift offensive positioning without the ball. He's also one of few playmakers who contribute on the defensive end as well. His lack of physical power contradicts his shot, which has a surprising amount of power making his shots on goal mostly effective. However, he has plenty of stamina and is very aggressive in duels. His timing is perfect, and his passes are accurate.

    Trivia:

In the first leg of Champions league qualifications 2006/2007, which was played in Zagreb, he practically took on the entire Arsenal FC team by himself. When in offense, Dinamo players would pass the ball to him. When in defense, Modrić would cover the field. He even caught Arsene Wenger's attention, but only to be labeled with the sentence "Croatians are very good, but very expensive as well".

    Transfer Availability:

Bayern Munchen are linked with him heavily and supposedly in the front to sign him. Though he won't come for anything less than 7,8mil Euro. Not much for a 21 year old who surely has a bright future ahead of him.

    My thoughts:

I am usually overly critical of our players, but this one is pure class. He plays for Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatian NT, attacking midfielder, can play on the left or in the center. He has great technique, dribbling and pace. The player he resembles the most is Pavel Nedved, apart from his weaker physique that is. But the most thing that relates him to our Pavel is his heart, he doesn't give up, when he looses the ball he runs after it even if it means going all over the pitch back and forth. A feat you can't find in many playmakers these days..

If we need to find a long term replacement for Gigi Buffon then Akinfeev is the man. We have to watch out for Chelsea because they have some deals with his current team. We all know the Akinfeev in FM but he does the job in real life too. He's not playing in a top European club yet so he will leave CSKA soon and we should snatch him up.

Defensive midfielder Raúl Albiol is a Valencia CF product who has risen through the ranks and is tipped for big things.

Raúl Albiol Tortajada (born 4 September 1985 in Valencia) is a 21-year-old Spanish footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Valencia CF. He previously played on loan for the 2004/2005 season at Getafe CF, where he got enough experience in Primera División to become a regular starter in Valencia.

Albiol played in the opening game of the La Liga 06/07 season against Betis and scored the winner as the game finished 2-1.

Albiol scored a screamer against Olympiacos of Greece on 12th September 2006 in the 2006-07 UEFA Champions League, which Valencia won 4-2.

Albiol's father was a famous player for the Spanish football club Benidorm CD. Whilst his father still had contacts at Benidorm he had wanted Albiol to join them at age 9 and he did join the Benidorm Under 9s and in a friendly match against Valencia CF he had played very impressively. Immediately the Valencia coach asked Albiol's father if he could have a trial at Valencia, and he got in straight away gliding through the ranks and now looks to be one Spain's big prospects for the future. Raul Albiol has admired Spain and Valencia defender Carlos Marchena saying that he watches him and takes notes down and would love to have the same career as him.

    Club
Albiol was given his Valencia senior debut by Rafael Benítez late in a UEFA Cup game against AIK Solna on 29 September 2003, also appearing in the quarter-final defeat of FC Girondins de Bordeaux by the eventual trophy winners. The following season he was loaned to Getafe CF although his debut was delayed after he was concussed in a car crash. In 2005 he returned to Valencia and became a first-team regular, helping them past FC Salzburg in the 2006/07 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.

    National team
Helped Spain win the 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and then moved up into the U21 squad.

    Did you know?
Albiol and his brother Miguel were honoured by their home town Villamarxant during summer 2006 as the local football ground was renamed the Estadio Hermanos Albiol (Albiol Brothers stadium). Valencia were invited for the inaugural match, which they won 11-0.

We all saw him play vs Inter in the Champions League and how he dominated in defense, Zlatan couldn't touch the ball. He's young, great header, great anticipation and a good marker. We need that because our defense should be made from scratch.

    I want Ricardo Quaresma:

Full name Ricardo Andrade Quaresma Bernardo
Date of birth September 26, 1983 (age 23)
    Place of birth Lisbon, Portugal
    Height 1.73m
    Nickname Mustang, Harry Pottrer, RQ7
    Playing position Wing forward
    Club information
    Current club FC Porto
    Number 7
    Senior clubs
    2001-2003 Sporting CP
    2003-2004 Fc Barcelona
    2004- FC Porto
    National team
    2003- Portugal 9 (1)

Ricardo Andrade Quaresma Bernardo, born 26 September 1983 in Lisbon, Portugal is a professional footballer; nicknamed "Mustang" by former coach Laszlo Bölöni because, similar to the horses, he possesses boldness, grace, speed, and independence; or Harry Potter, for being a young magician on the field; and also O Cigano due to Quaresma's Roma (Gypsey) decent. He is said to be one of the greatest Portuguese footballers currently, due to his dazzling moves, strength, passing ability, and shooting with the outside of his foot.

    Sporting years
A Sporting trainee, he debuted as a professional during the 2000-2001 season in the B side, playing 15 games. In the next season he was selected by Laszlo Bölöni to play in the main squad, where he played 28 matches, scored three goals and was a key player in Sporting's title. Quaresma's SuperLiga debut for Sporting came against his current employers, FC Porto.

During the 2002-2003 season he was Sporting's "lone star", coming second in total minutes played (2216), played in 31 matches, and scoring in five occasions. The poor results during the season were partially attributed to Bölöni, who rarely played Cristiano Ronaldo and Quaresma at the same time.

    Barcelona
Quaresma was sold to FC Barcelona for €6,000,000 (approximately £4,100,000 GBP), plus playing rights for Fábio Rochemback, but failed to make his mark with the Catalan side. He first played for FC Barcelona in a friendly in the USA versus AC Milan. In the game he scored his first goal for Barcelona (Ronaldinho did the same). During the season, he started ten times, came off the bench eleven times, and scored only one goal. In the final weeks of the season he injured his right foot badly, missing both the 2004 UEFA U-21 Championship and Euro 2004, although it was highly unlikely that he would have been called up for the latter.

During Euro 2004 he announced his refusal to play for Barcelona as long as Frank Rijkaard was in charge, and several teams began inquiring about the talented player. However, Sporting rivals FC Porto had an advantage: a transfer for Deco was being negotiated, and Quaresma could be used as part of the transfer fee. At first uninterested in returning to Portugal, he changed his mind quickly and was presented as a Porto signing on 6 July.
The value of his transfer was around €6M

    FC Porto
He started with a bang, scoring in the European Super Cup and netting the only goal in Porto's triumph against SL Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup/SuperCup Cândido de Oliveira. Went on to score five goals in 32 league matches, and was ever-present in Porto's run to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. He also contributed to the dramatic win against CD Once Caldas in the 2004 European/South American Cup, scoring in a thrilling penalty shoot-out victory.

Regarded as one of the best players of the Portuguese Liga,he managed to score 5 more goals. However Porto's team lacked cohesion, and the championship was lost to Benfica. Quaresma's influence was critical in Porto's 2005/06 title win. He was the assists leader in the Portuguese Liga, but was omitted from the Portugal 2006 FIFA World Cup squad by Luis Felipe Scolari.

Quaresma was seen as a talented player with a major short-coming: lack of defensive skills. This shortcoming has now been corrected - and is seen as one of Co Adriaanse's main achievements - and Quaresma is a real team player, helping both in defense whenever needed, and in offense, with his stunning dribbling skills and magical passes and crosses. He has become famous for his amazing technique in which he crosses the ball with the outer part of his right foot, in order to achieve a curve in which the ball is "pulled" away from the keeper right to the feet of the striker.

Real Madrid, AC Milan and Manchester United have been said to be after Quaresma but FC Porto are demanding close to 20 million Euros for the Portugese.

    National Team
A UEFA European Under-16 Championship winner in 2000, he made his full international debut in a June 2003 friendly against Bolivia. Poor form and injury, however, prevented Quaresma from taking part in the 2004 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, UEFA EURO 2004™, and the Olympic Games in Athens. However, sparkling displays with Porto won a role in Portugal's quest for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, and the winger helped his country to a vital 2-0 win against Slovakia. He wasn't chosen to play for Portugal on FIFA's 2006 World Cup, which attracted huge criticism by Portuguese people, particularly FC Porto fans. Scolari believed in "club Portugal" and that the players which helped the team qualify for the World Cup should be picked ahead of Ricardo. Other people suggest that since Luis Boa Morte took his place in the final squad having rarely played in the qualifiers, that Scolari felt that Quaresma's personality and attitude wasn't good for the team. Quaresma was also voted Portuguese player of the year.

Scolari then called him up to play a friendly against Brazil at the Emirates Stadium where Portugal won 2-0. Quaresma got two assists and was named man of the match.

On March 23, 2007, Quaresma scored an amazing goal in a 4-0 win over Belgium in the Euro 2008 qualifiers. After Cristiano Ronaldo had squared it for him in the outside right position, he used his heel to cut into the penalty box and then shot with the outside of his right foot, curling the ball past Belgian goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen.

His first football appearances were for Rondinella Firenze; then he played for Pistoiese, Ascoli and Chievo, before being signed by Palermo in the summer of 2004.

He has 12 caps for Italy national football team, and was promoted to the role of starter for the 2006 FIFA World Cup quarter-final against Ukraine after an injury to Alessandro Nesta and the suspension of Marco Materazzi.

Barzagli also won a bronze medal with the Olympic team in 2004.

This season there has been constant speculation about his future with Juventus tipped to sign him either during the January transfer window or at the end of the season.

I'm a big fan of Andrea Barzagli, who's playing really well for Palermo at the moment.

Frey won the Italian Cup in the 2001-02 season whilst at Parma and was included in the French national team for the first time when it faced Poland in November 2004 although he never made an appearance.

After the 2004-05 season Frey joined Fiorentina on loan. At the end of the season, he was given a permanent deal with unknown amount.

His younger brother Nicholas is a footballer too, currently playing with Serie B team Modena F.C..

    ______________

Frey is the most underrated keeper in the world IMO. If we ever sell Buffon to a team that doesn't have Casillas or Cech in it then Frey is the ideal replacement. Sébastien makes the difference in matches unlike a certian Marco Amelia. He has some experience and is a spectacular keeper.

Anderson Luís De Abreu Oliveira, best known as Anderson (born in Porto Alegre, April 13, 1988) is a Brazilian footballer.

In 1993 he joined Grêmio junior team and in 2004 he debuts on the professional team, scoring one goal in 5 appearances. When he was 15 it is fairly well known that he performed a quite wonderful unique trick that the Roma winger, Taddei performed against Olympiacos in the Champions League earlier in the campaign. Although he is young, and relatively unknown, Anderson has already achieved highly in world football. In April 2005, Anderson played for the Brazil national football team in the South American U-17 Championship which Brazil lost in the final 3-0 to Mexico. In October he won the "Adidas Golden Ball" with his national team at the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Previous winners of this illustrious title include young Arsenal F.C. star Francesc Fàbregas, Recreativo Huelva striker Sinama-Pongolle, and U.S player Landon Donovan of Los Angeles Galaxy. He is known to have an unbelievable amount of skill for his age and could soon be known as the new Brazilian wonderkid.

He joined FC Porto in December but only made his debut on 5 March 2006, in a game for the Portuguese championship, still in time to allow him to claim his part in the 2005-06 victorious run. World Soccer magazine recognises him as one of the key players of his generation and, actually, is one of the most important players in the FC Porto squad.

He already has a starting spot on the squad at the age of 18, playing either on the left flank or as the creative midfielder for the team. With a small frame, he isn't scared to go against bigger players and chase every ball down with fearless tackles.

He made his UEFA Champion's League debut against CSKA Moscow on September 13, 2006 where he had a great performance.

He has been likened to a young Ronaldinho and a host of top European clubs are reported to be after his signature. Chelsea FC are very interested in his services and have sent scouts to assess his performances. Other clubs said to be following him include Barcelona FC and Internazionale but, so far, no one has made a move for his signature. FC Porto have stated that they would only sell him if a large bid was offered and no sooner than the summer window of 2007.

His Champions League performance against Arsenal FC on 26/09/06 was combative and energetic but he often found himself ploughing a lone furrow against a strong Arsenal side who managed to stifle his, and FC Porto's, creative impulses. He was eventually substituted as Porto went down 2-0.

He made his debut 4 years after at the age of 16 in the 'Rio-São Paulo Championship' in 2002, and in the same year he was on the Santos team who won the domestic Campeonato Brasileiro championship. 2 years after Diego was called up for the Brazil national squad for the Copa América 2004 tournament, and he was instrumental in securing the tournament victory for Brazil when he scored in the penalty shootout against Argentina in the final.

Later he was transferred to Portuguese club FC Porto in July 2004. Diego never found a stable position in the FC Porto team under the coach, Co Adriaanse. He only scored 4 goals in 49 matches, too. And because of that, Diego was left out of the Brazil squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup tournament. He moved to Werder Bremen in May 2006, signing a contract until 2010.

In Bremen, he made an impressive start, scoring 8 goals and 10 assists and being named player of the month 3 times in his first half season in the Bundesliga. This also granted him a return to the Brazilian national team for their friendly match against Switzerland in November, 2006. He was also voted to be best Bundesliga player in the first half of the season.

Why I want this player to join Juve:
You can describe Diego in two words: Fantastic Player! He have everything that an offensive-midfielder have to got. A great shot, great technic and best of all can he create chances. If we can't get Matigol, I'll prefer Diego (or Ederson actually)!
    btw. I really love south-american players:D

Riccardo Montolivo (born 18 January 1985 in Caravaggio, Bergamo) is an Italian footballer. He currently plays in the role of attacking midfielder for ACF Fiorentina of Serie A league. He is also nationally known as a good deep-lying forward.

He started his career with Atalanta, for which he debuted in the 2003/2004 season, helping his team to gain a promotion to Series A, and scoring 4 goals in 41 matches. The next season, again for Atalanta, he played 32 times and scored 3 goals, being unable to avoid the immediate relegation for the team. He moved to Fiorentina in the summer of 2005, in a joint ownership bid. In 2006 Fiorentina got full ownership.

He is one of the main players of the Under 21 national team of Italy coached by Claudio Gentile, and widely considered as one of the most promising youngsters in the country. He has been tipped to be the next Totti. However, in his first season with Fiorentina he was rarely first choice for coach Claudio Cesare Prandelli and spent most of the games on the bench.

In October 10th 2006 Montolivo scored a winning goal when Italy won Spain 1-2 and qualified for 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.

A complete player IMO. Hardworking, team player, fast, intelligent. He's a type of player that every team would want to have. Can play anywhere in the midfield, but his favourite position is in the centre. He's got a great vision, and would solve our creativity problems we had since Zidane left.

    Alex Rodrigo Dias da Costa
(born June 17, 1982) is a Brazilian footballer born in Niterói, Brazil. He currently plays as a defender for PSV Eindhoven. He has played seven games for the Brazil national football team. Alex is known among PSV fans for his great strength and his imposing appearance. His nickname is "The Tank".

    Biography
Alex started his career in Santos of Brazil in the 2002 Brazilian season. He was bought by English club Chelsea F.C. in 2004, but due to potential problems attaining a work permit, he was loaned out to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. The joint contract of Chelsea and PSV states that Alex would play at PSV for two years, with Chelsea having a €1 buy-out clause.

He transferred to PSV Eindhoven in the 2004-05 season, helping the club win both the Dutch Eredivisie championship and Dutch Cup title that year. Alex spent the 2005-06 season at PSV, winning another Eredivisie title, and PSV confirmed he would prolong his stay in the Netherlands for the duration of the 2006-07 season. On March 7, 2007, Alex scored both an own goal and a powerful header against English club Arsenal F.C. to ensure PSV a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.[1]

Alex has not been able to play for Chelsea due to his lack of caps for the Brazilian national team. Work permit rules in England requires that a non-EU player must have played in 75% of his country's international games in the last two years. Until this is resolved, Alex's stay at PSV seems likely. PSV Eindhoven are currently looking for an option to sign the defender from Chelsea.

David Josué Jiménez Silva, more commonly known as Silva (born January 8, 1986 in Arguineguín, Spain), is an extremely talented young Spanish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Valencia CF.

    Club career
He made his first league appearance at SD Eibar where he played 35 league games for the side whilst on loan from Valencia, scoring 5 goals. In the 2005/2006 season, Silva was loaned out to play for Celta Vigo where he played 31 matches scoring 4 goals. It was Silva's exploits at Celta Vigo which earned him a name and quite a bit of reputation, and he started attracting the attention of big clubs. Tottenham was one of the clubs trying to lure this Spanish youngster. However seeing his potential and talent, Valencia quickly offered a fresh contract. He is also a Spanish U21 international, and scored 4 goals during the FIFA World Youth Championship in 2005; this was enough to earn him joint 4th place in the goal ranking, alongside Italian striker Graziano Pelle.

Silva is highly versatile, capable of playing as a left winger, playmaker, and recently has been played in Valencia as a right winger. A player of slight build, he is often compared to Pablo Aimar, the player he replaced at Valencia. In fact Silva is wearing Aimar's trademark number 21 shirt. With quick feet, Silva is a brilliant passer with an incredible vision and has the knack for scoring goals. Silva is considered one of the brightest prospects in Valencia, and already a lot of responsibility lies in his young shoulders.

He made his international debut for the Spain national football team in the 1-0 friendly defeat to Romania on 15 November 2006. He also appeared in Spain's 1-0 victory over England. Silva continues to play for the national team after showing his much needed contributions. -Before playing a match, Silva likes to step on the pitch with his left foot first.
-His father is Spanish and his mother is Asian
-After joining Valencia CF, Silva's father, Fernando abandoned his political career in the Canary Islands, moved the entire family to Valencia, and now works as Valencia's head of security.

Another great midfielder, and he is very young too, so he can improve even more. Can shoot with both legs, so he can play everywhere in the midfield. The best position for him is LM imo, he's unstoppable there. Has great crosses, great passes and great and accurate shots too (ask Cech).

    Place of birth: Pescia, Italy
    Height: 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in)
    Playing position: Striker
    Current club: ACF Fiorentina

Giampaolo Pazzini is an Italian football player, who currently plays for Fiorentina, having been transferred there from Atalanta in January 2005.

    Club Career

Giampaolo Pazzini's high point of the 2005/2006 season was his spectacular equalising header against Juventus. Pazzini also struck a wonderfully powerful shot beating Juventus keeper, Gianluigi Buffon, to cap a traditional Italian counter attack, in the 2004/2005 season.

    International Career

Pazzini is currently a member of the Italy Under-21 team.

Pazzini was the star of the first ever professional match at the new Wembley Stadium in a game against England Under-21 on 24 March 2007. The Fiorentina forward set three records in the 3-3 draw; he scored the first and the fastest ever goal at Wembley (in both its old and new incarnations) after 28 seconds and went on to score the first ever hat-trick in 68 minutes.

One of Italy's best prospects. Great goalscoring abilities, is fast, can dribble. With a lot of work, he can become one of the best players in the world. He is a Del Piero type of player, and with a good striker (like Huntelaar) partnering him, it could be one of the best partnerships. Just like Del Piero - Trezeguet was some years ago.

Rio Antonio Mavuba (born March 8, 1984 at sea) is a French football player who plays at FC Bordeaux.

His father, Ricky Mavuba, nicknamed Ndoki Ya Ndombe (The Black Sorcerer), was a Congolese international footballer who participated in the 1974 FIFA World Cup; his mother is an Angolan. He was born in a boat in international waters, far away from the Angolan coast, during the period of civil war.

He made his senior team debut on August 18, 2004 against Bosnia and Herzegovina in a 1-1 draw.

Mavuba has been likened to Jean Tigana in his playing days for his techincal abilities and clever ball use and touted as the next Claude Makelele for his tireless running and commandment in midfield. Before Makelele came out of international retirement, it was Mavuba that was expected to take the traditional defensive midfield responsibility ahead of Lyon's Alou Diarra.

This talent, and the inability to tempt Bayern Munich into selling Owen Hargreaves, has encouraged newspaper reports linking Mavuba with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.[1] The young France international has stated that he doesn't know what his future will be, but he has never hidden his ambition to play for such a big club. It is also rumoured that he could be joining the fallen Italian giants Juventus after their promotion to Serie A.

Kim Källström [kɪm 'ɕɛlstrœm] (born August 24, 1982 in Sandviken, Sweden) is a left-footed Swedish midfielder playing for the Swedish national team and Olympique Lyonnais. He has a powerful shot, which once knocked out his team-mate Andreas Isaksson during training prior to the 2006 World Cup. His nickname is Kongo-Kim. He is also known for sporting a rather unique quiff.

Källström's first professional club in Sweden was BK Häcken from Gothenburg but his big breakthrough in Sweden came when he moved to Djurgårdens IF in 2002, where he won the swedish Allsvenskan in 2002 and 2003. Being from Gothenburg, it was expected that he would sign for IFK Göteborg. In the spring of 2004 Källström moved to the French club Rennes, where he played together with fellow former Djurgården player Andreas Isaksson.

Källström made his international debut in 2001 against Finland. He played for his country at Euro 2004 and has been capped 31 times scoring 4 goals, as of December 2005.

Källström had an impressive showing in the 2006 World Cup for Sweden. Although he began the tournament on the bench as a substitue, he replaced Anders Svensson for a starting spot against Paraguay, England, and Germany. He had several superb shots as well as an overall impressive showing, both offensively and defensively helping Sweden to reach the second round. On May 26, 2006, he signed with French league champions Olympique Lyonnais.

    Euro 2008

He scored off of a right-footed blast, just outside of the box in Sweden's 1-0 victory over Latvia on September 2, 2006. This was Sweden's first game of their 2008 European Championship qualifying campaign. On October 11, 2006, Kallstrom dazzled the crowd and stunned his Icelandic adversaries with an 8th minute 45 yard rocket that found the back of the net through a sea of bodies. The goal proved to be decisive, as Sweden soundly defeated Iceland 2-1, thus extending their qualification recorded to an immaculate 4-0 and placing them at the head of their group with an achieved maximum of 12 points. He will be vital if the Scandinavian nation hope to compete with the European giants in 2008.

    Trivia

Källström is a player who has entered into Championship Manager folklore as one of the best buys in the game whilst still playing for Djurgårdens IF and Häcken. He became a very popular transfer target for players of Championship Manager 01/02 in particular. At this stage in his career he was still a little-known player at Häcken. This was because the stats and abilities he was given by the developers did not reflect the player's very low valuation. This meant even the poorest clubs could afford a quality player. He became almost a "cheat" player, and this led to the developers giving him a much more realistic valuation in later editions of the game.

    Profile
Kim Källström is an adept passer and regular scorer in his favoured position just behind the front two.

    Club

Källström announced himself as a prodigious talent at BK Häcken where he enjoyed three successful seasons before joining Djurgårdens IF in December 2001 for €1.35m. Considered one of Swedish football's great hopes at the time, he helped the Stockholm club to the Allsvenskan title in both 2002 - their first championship since 1966 - and 2003 when he contributed 14 goals before leaving Sweden for Stade Rennais FC in a €2m switch in January 2004. Källström had little trouble adjusting to Ligue 1 and a further 20 goals in three seasons in Britanny enhanced his already blossoming reputation. He had no shortage of admirers at the end of another impressive campaign in 2005/06 but had only one club in mind - five-time French champions Olympique Lyonnais. Lyon paid Rennes €8m for his services with Källström signing a four-year contract.

    National team

Källström was first called into the Sweden fold after the 2002 FIFA World Cup for a friendly against Russia, and for a time juggled senior and Under-21 duties. He helped Sweden win one of eight places in the 2004 UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals, but travelled to Portugal instead for UEFA EURO 2004™ where he played in all four of Sweden's matches. A regular since, he was also ever-present at the 2006 World Cup in Germany as the Scandinavian side reached the last 16.

    Did you know?
His father Mikael Källström was an assistant coach at Kim's first club, Häcken.

Why I want him at Juve:

His young, quick and is not shy of scoring from his position. And he'll be easy on the wallet.
