People like Platini and Pele should be under a gag order. They provide easy, brain-dead stories for lazy sports reporters, and they always are presented as if some modern day authority on the sport. It's bad for the likes of Platini and Pele, and it adds nothing to the public's understanding of the modern game.
Now if Platini were ever to become a Juve coach, I'd change my tune. But until then, he's just another bloke watching matches on TV with a pint of
