There is a huge chance that a similar topic exists but i'm too lazy to search for it.
If there isn't a similar thread then this is the place to show us your city and brag how beautiful it is.

I'll start.
I'm from Omiš, a very small town on the Adriatic coast in Croatia. The positives of living in a small town are : It's quiet and one picture from short distance is enough to catch the whole town in it. :)

Here is my town :

That's beautiful Alen. Truly.

But I don't think you realize the box you've just opened. You see in America we refer to our pubic area as our city and/or town. This could get mess.

The "general image" of Croatia for most people probably doesn't include a pristine coastal setting. It must be a privilege to live in such a place.

Show us the part of the city where you guys live or where you were raised. If someone lives in New York i certainly don't want him to show us the Statue of Liberty. Show us the part of the city where you live.

Europeans know Croatia just like this. Half of the country is at sea and half of Germany is here during the summer. :D

    You asked for it.

    Charleston, WV, USA

    Overhead view of the city:

Also the state capital, even though we are one of the poorest states in the US we have a capital building with a gold leaf top:

Downtown, one of my favorite hang outs in the summer:

I heard that Lebanon is beautiful. Beirut strikes me as a typical western city. I was expecting something more oriental but then again, Beirut was cosmopolitan city so the influence from the west is not surprising.

Rab, do you perhaps have pictures of the ancient town, Berytus (Beyrutus?) ?

Charleston also looks like a place i could live in. It looks like a small and peaceful city.

It's nice, but it has a lot of sprawl. And much of the city is dying off. Though it has been trying to revitalize itself in the last 5 years or so. The city itself is around 40,000, but the valley it is located in has close to 150,000-175,000 people.
