Man, printing is fucking addictive

I usually only send files for other people to the printing lab, but since I started to print my personal stuff shit is getting out of hand lol @s4tch
Print a Scudetto and send it to Inter

Just love the setting between the trees and all.
What is the statue about btw?

@DAiDEViL my buddy wants to buy a camera for one pretty specific purpose: his son plays football, tennis and stuff, and he'd like to have some memories. his budget is around 500€, used of course. so a telephoto zoom + a body is what he needs at first.

my first idea was a tamron 70-300 vc + an old workhorse nikon body like d300s or maybe a d700. i checked mpb.com and even with their pretty high prices it would fit within the budget. any better suggestions?

You know more about gear than I do.

    But I 2nd this.

Perhaps some Canon would work just as well, depending on what he prefers.

he's got no preference, but i dunno shit about canon bodies or lenses... i remember my nikon 70-300vr though, and the tamron is told to be very similar, just sharper at the long end, where the nikon is a bit soft. i also know the d700 pretty well as my luthier buddy ( https://www.instagram.com/guitar.clinic/ ) still uses one, it's a terrific camera. if i wouldn't mind the weight and bulk i'd love to use it for family stuff. full frame semi-pro dslr on a budget, it must be a great experience.

btw tamron sold the same lens for canon mount too and they have basically identical measured performance, so i'll try to read about canon bodies a bit:

edit: these are my picks so far:

Btw, one of my favorite shots from a safari I was on some years ago.

A lion catches our stationary jeep from in the brush right before he lunges after us and

we peel out of there :snoop:
