1) To be a true winner in pes u should play only with 2 teams - real or barca
2) Off the ball movement in fifa is awesome
3) in fifa 11, defenders like Chiellini became really strong power, with awesome man marking, just test it
4) Tacticts in fifa is on the top level, u can change ur wingers with positions in match, offside trap etc. etc., 10000000 diffrent tactics, custom formations etc. etc. etc.
5) u can make libero position or Gamarero28 position as u wish in fifa too

1- Real are shite in PES,play witha free roaming midfielder and play through balls between the centre back to defeat them. as for Barca,a team with big strong powerful forwards give them all sortf of problems, also Messi, keep him on his right foot and his crossing is pretty poor.
best teams In PES i have found to be Chelsea and Inter as both are strong defensively, strong in attack and they have guile in midfield

but then again i can destroy them with atletico madrd sometimes.

2-off teh ball movement in PES means that you have the freedom to run the channels if you time it perfectly,in a 2v2 game like me and my mates play it is this freedom of movement that can make all the difference.

3-one of PES failures in recent years is that it tried to make it too arcadey, in taht the defenders were dumbed down, this is the one major flaw the game has had over the last few years. this seems to be rectified and if it has then the one frustration of the game seems to have been dealt with.

4-custom tactics are brilliant......well...unless you are a bunch of stoned guys waiting for your mate to sort the team out so you can hurry the fuck up and play.

5- your argument has done little to convinvce me

i played FIFA from way back when it first appeared on the Sega mega drive and played it faithfully until i got my hands on ISS Pro Evolution, this game changed the way i played football games forever. when ISS came out for the PS2 i was tempted back to FIFA,it was nowhere near the level of Pro Evo and it was too easy to beat a team with a chipped through ball, but in all honesty i ah gotten sick of playing our usual 20 minute games and it ending 42-43....and this is where the beauty of PES comes in. with FIFA the game almost feels scripted, run this way, shoot that way, score the goal...showcase the licence that they paid so much for...i could never quite figure out whether i was playing a game or being force fed EA propaganda.

the beauty of PES is the freedom, the fact no 2 games are ever the same. you could play Arsenal v Liverpool and see Arshavin terrorise the Scousers defense and win handsomely...or you could see him dominated by the defenders and see Gerrard score a screamer to seal a tight game. for me there will always be a clear winner, even if every year i borrow FIFA from a mate and see if it is ready to take a place in my collection,so far i have handed it back every year glad i have made the right decision

Fifa does feel pretty scripted at times.

Especially in Fifa 10, the amount of chances they give you at the 45 and 90min is insane.

You pretty much get a clear cut scoring chance every time whether you're playing the computer, your mate or some guy in Taiwan.

PES feels very scripted at times too though.

Last night I was 1-0 up and at the end of the match my opponent went on a run and my players were not responding, simple pass or tackle and nothing worked, like my players just refused to do anything. new they were going to score and they did. I've played PES for years, I know the feeling. As long as it's not too frequent I'm not too nervous about it.

For the first one:

Bring me anyone in the world playing with Real or Barca to challenge me n i will beat him.

Your problem mate (i mean FIFA's lovers),is that u ppl think that football is only about speed, pace, shooting n that's all.No dear, football is much more bigger than this.I know that in Barca Messi is superb n so Ronaldo in Real, but if the brain is used they can be stopped. And the problem is in your brain but in your FIFA that is so limited and doesn't allow the ppl to use their brain, just hands.

As for the libero position:i know that u can make libero in FIFA,even in FIFA 98 u could, but what i mean is u can not really use the functions of the libero in FIFA.U ppl think that the libero is the one who stands behind the defenders and that's it.Nooooooooooooooo, there are many functions for the libero, and most of them u can't do in FIFA.

Yea,that's true,it happens not only in Man U but even in some other teams especially with those who play wide football.

Atleast it happens in few teams in PES,but in FIFA it is 100/10 it is a goal.:sergio:

And btw IZ,if were great in defence like me:D u would have found a way to stop it.
I can 1V1 but 2V2 I have to rely on my friends who aren't the best.

I think Inter should be savage in the new PES.

Pandev-Eto'o-Milito triad again

with Mariga,Cambiaso and Wes

I've played both pretty extensively and really can't tell much of a difference with the newer editions of each. It's really about personal preference, but I can tell you the claim that PES is much more tactical and for the true conussier of football is just bull shit.

You can turn PES into a goal festival just as easy as you can in FIFA. It's about the style of the gamer, not the style of the game. When I play my season in FIFA I play on a rather high difficulty and I play really slowly. When I play against a human, I run like it's a friggin' horse race. The same with PES.

Oh and saying a video game be it FIFA, PES, or FM translates to having astute tactical awareness or understanding football is dumb as shit.

I've been a PES fan for a lot of years.

With that said Fifa 10 > PES 10, i haven't played the new demos though, but i liked Fifa 10 a lot.

I only played fifa one time in my life it was this year,i played cuz my friend backhome are playing it this year (they didnt like PES 2010),i can tell one thing about fifa 2010 its easy with nice flow and entertaining but its to EASY,and the formation tactics is so stupid, its to easy i learned every thing in it in one weak
at least you can score 5 goals every match against the computer.

i download the pes 2011 demo last night and i didnt play a game yet, like always the first thing to check the formation tactics [and thats why PES is better than fifa]
and from what i found surly i will be pes2011,and maybe next year there is no need to play FM any more, just play pes and its enough.
