dybala stats:

12 matches 8 goals 2 assists

pogba stats: 0 matches 0 goals 0 assists

vlahovic stats: 11 matches 6 goals 1 assist

yeah we sure made a great decision letting him go
If Dybala was still with us, he would've also had 0 goals and 0 assists this year

The argument is not about letting him go. It is about who we replaced him with and we did an awful job of replacing him

And we have a coach who makes us play a different sport so it's pointless to argue about player departures when the problems lie elsewhere

nah Di Maria > Dybala and it’s not even close. Allegri is the problem here. Washed up, finished coach at this point. Doesn’t change Dybala being a washed up, injury prone Princess too.

Di Maria is a temporary option. In reality, Dybala has been replaced with Pogba. We gave him a 4 year contract and pretty much replaced his salary with Pogba's salary. We bought him in to be the difference maker like Dybala for us in the past. And he can't even get on the pitch.

Pogba was a stupid signing. I said so for years. This club is unfortunately stuck living in its past right now. Bringing back Pogba is a prime example. Doesn’t make getting rid of Dybala a bad idea.

you can't speak in absolutes like that. there is no way for us to know what he would have or could have done. what we can do is use his past to determine possible outcomes. and his past shows even under mediocre allegri last season, dybala was top scorer and top assister.

what we can determine also is that is was definetley a mistake to let him go cuz his replacements have been worse. di maria has played less than him. pogba hasn't played at all.

saying he is out till next year like it's 7 months away. october is done so that leaves 2 months. pogba being out since july till january is bad. chiesa being out since january of last year until november is bad.

Lol what? Dybala has 8 goals for the season and it's early October.

Bringing Pogba back was well worth the gamble considering he came on a free transfer. But it's the sort of business that should have been integrated in a much bigger transfer plan in which we actually get players suited to whatever tactical set up we want to employ.
