@Strickland correct but Dybala will argue that he's the most important player so he should be paid more than everyone else and that's De Ligt who's on something like 7M. It's management who screwed it all up and giving Ronaldo 100M, you can't suddenly say you're broke because we wanted to keep him this season too at 100M. Sell De Ligt, Arthur, Ramsey, Rabiot, Sandro and rebuild the whole team instead.
Of course you can. Covid, reduced sporting success, possibly missing out on CL next season, there're many things that have contributed to us going broke between the summers we signed de Ligt and Ronaldo and now.

Fully agreed on the need to rebuild, ditch the high earners and build a sustainable team that allows us to invest in transfer fees as well.

⚠️ The tension between #Dybala and #Juventus arose from the additional request by the agent of the player after the agreement in October. #Antun has raised the stakes by inserting the image rights of the player in the deal.

[#CorSera via @capuanogio]

So you're saying it's not BiniBene changing the agreement? Shocking.
Idk if true or not, but his agent always came across as a bit of a turd, so wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Well its his agent after all. He is the client and he should demand from his agenyt what he wants.

If he really wants to stay at Juventus by heart since he preaches he loves us so much, he should bend over to the demands of the club, not putting up a charade in front of everyone. It says all needs to be known about his case

You can and you should. You can’t just continue on a mistake forever.

dybala will leave, but club will retain the services of the amazing ramsey, the fantastic rabiot, the jaw dropping arthur, and the unbreakable alex sandro.

after all those players were crucial in winning so many titles and breaking platini's goal scoring record

Wow. You are such a biased dolt, it's impossible to even establish any sort of communication with you.

Let me get this right. It's ok for some random shitcunt to come in with no knowledge of football and flex his muscles because he can, singling out, arguably, our best player, but when said player expresses his disdain or disapproval in a subtle manner, you just can't help yourself and lash out at him. Truly pathetic, but then again, I expect nothing more from someone like you.

Says the idiot who gets all heated up insulting everyone when someone touches his buttons.

What im sayiing is no thing extraordinario and in fact is very clear. Dybala is a. MOody player who just cant be our 10, let alone the "center of the project". He is inconsistent, moody, and according to his demands, he will be on super star wages (for juve standars) for no reason. We will be stuck with him until he is a total has been, and people like you will be asking why we cant sign anyone or teyingnto find excuses when he inevitable fails us in CL games where he should be the protagonist.
Its about time This club stop pampering players like him, and cleanse all what is bringing us down.

Dybala? He is talented but he was not able to go next step and be what his fans wants him to be. Not for the salary and the guarantees he demands.
The only one blinded is you. You simply cant See the damage he will do to This team on the long run Because you are a blinded fanboy of someone not worth it.

Thats all there is to it

I don't mind him staying and I don't mind him leaving. Going to Inter is a big slap on the face for a management that I have been criticizing for years now and this move will be cherry on top for a series of failures, irrational decisions, lack of vision and planning and weird all in all considering what they did the years before.

I don't like that he sits out so much time during the season but I do like his contribution when he does. I would want him to stay with his demands if he were able to consistently deliver.
That bolded IF is thje exact reason why all of us should had enough of him. Theres always an if, theres always an excuse. Tired of that.

I don’t know or care who’s fault it is but he isn’t going to stay. If he was ever going to stay he would have been signed to an extension a long time ago. But he is not worth high wages considering he is often injured and tactically inflexible.

Dybala most definitely is overpaid as well though. If we look at other teams, over the course of his current contract the players I'd put in one category with Dybala are Insigne (4.5m) from Napoli, Martinez (2.5m, since October 6m) from Inter, Gomez (2m) and Ilicic (1.8m) from Atalanta (last season Malinovsky (1m)), SMS from Lazio (3.2m), too lazy to list more, but you get the idea. They all have been on salaries and continue to receive salaries that Dybala fans like Bianconero81 would consider a bad joke if they were proposed to Dybs.

But the main thing with balancing our wage structure is balance in terms of squad, you can't give Dybala 10m season and then expect Cuads, who was 5 times the player under Pirlo, to sign for 4m/season or similar. As soon as you give a ridiculous salary to one it has a ripple effect on the other negotiations.

And the higher salary made sense while we were unbeatable, you want guaranteed Scudetto, you pay up. But this is the 2nd season in the row were we are not even in the Scudetto conversation and that has to have consequences, right now Dybs is just like Insigne or SMS, the star player on a 2nd rate team, I see no reason why he should get paid like a star player of the champion team. The same should apply to other high earners like de Ligt, Woj and Bonucci when it's time to renew them. I don't even want to talk about Rabiot, Ramsey or Sandro, the sooner we get rid of them the better.
I think this is the key point here. What the management absolutely must do is to lower the salary baseline and this is a difficult process. My guess is that Ramsey, Sandro and Rabiot will be pushed out without shedding a tear. MDL will be sold for big money (kinda inevitable) and if Dybala leaves our highest earners would be Tek and Bonucci followed by Cuadrado and Chiesa.

If Dybala would accept the same salary for the next 3-4 years, it'd be acceptable IMO. An increase is a problem because it's not easy to justify any increases considering his recent years here.

If you land Vlahovic + (let's say) Berardi and put them next to Chiesa in 433 then it's a much better attack than what we have now. The question is: what to do with midfield? It seems so weak that without any cash you can't upgrade it to an acceptable level. Starting with Locatelli next to Rovella/McBurger and Tchouameni would be a good start I guess but we'd also need a CB. Bremer? Milenkovic? Romagnoli on a free? ( :scared: )

Agree.

The biggest mistake was offering those ridiculous wages to ramsey and rabiot and of course ronaldo but that was expected for one of the best players over the past decade. It really did set an unsustainable standard for wage offerings, topped with covid hitting, it was the perfect storm for us creating the situation we are in now.

Our issue is that vlahovic isn't joining, neither is berardi...and if the club guaranteed these type of signings then we'd all feel comfortable that we'd have an improvement in our final third.

My prediction is that dybala won't be offered any more than we are offering by other clubs. However I think he will leave regardless of salary because the club have gone back on their word.

I'm not insulting everyone, at least not those who don't deserve it. You're not being rational because you're also an incredibly biased hater. Bend over to the will of the club? Do you even think before you type?

Let's assume we allow Dybala to walk for free (great strategy btw, allowing, as things stand, your best player to walk away for free), who are you bringing in then?

One explanation for why we are waiting till February is that “when Juventus close the semi-annual balance sheet (in the next few weeks), barring any catastrophe, the signature will happen.”
