we literally have no idea how he would do with a full and healthy squad.

And to be fair all teams suffer injuries here and there but this season we really have been crippled with injuries and covid to very important players. However add a fully fit and available dybala and say Arthur for midfield, it would have made a significant difference for the team.

I dont disregard icardi as a player..he scores goals and always has and is known for having a defined role being a pure striker. Dybala is the opposite in terms of a defined role. I think this is a positive thing as it shows dybala can be utilised in various ways to help the team, icardi less so. However what does pirlo need and how does that impact the situation should a deal between the two players come about?

I don't think they want to risk him back anymore, we did this twice since last year and in the end his injury relapsed.

We need him after the International break. If he hits form in the right time and the players are angry enough we can win all our remaining matches. I still believe in a domestic treble even though it looks very unlikely but for it to happen we need to start getting lucky with injuries.

In all honesty, I am at a loss as to where this guy fits in the current squad. Where could we play him in the current formation? Up front in a 442 in place of Morata/Kulu (i.e. a Dyldo partnership)? Slot behind as a trequartista in a 3412? Play him on the right in a 433? He hasn't played for so long that I've forgotten where he plays best
