I couldn't agree more. Del Piero was something else. I used to stress about him leaving, especially back in 98 when rumors were circulating that we weren't willing to pay him what he deserves.

However, the reason why so many of us are attached to Dybala is because he's genuinely one of the few likable players on the squad. If he leaves, who are we left with? :p

Good luck with work :)
There is a problem if we are paying a player according to his likeableness.

But i get your point.

Dybala is a fantasista who has the ability to come up with magic. He has choked so far in CL but who hasnt at Juve?

Letting him go would be the dumbest thing to do. One of the reasons we havent won that damned thing is that we keep starting from zero every season instead of fixing the cracks.

Griezmann makes 23.2m. Pockets approx 11.6 after tax (50% rate). In Italy with the new tax rules, we could pay him 14.8m (13% rate) in order for him to earn the 11.6 that he earns in Barca. If we can get away with paying 80% of his salary we can pay 11.8 per season which amounts to 23.7 over two years. Totally doable and worth it.
Thanks. :hi: Makes more sense now.

According to this article (https://fcbarcelonalatestnews.com/fc-barcelona-players-wages/) he makes 45m€ / y before taxes, so his salary is about 23m€ net , so we have to pay him about 20m € it would be impossible and rightfully so .

Ahh ok so I thought it was 23 before tax. So yeah that doubles all my calculations. Probably not worth it in that case.

Yeah, shame on him for being injured in CL right? surely you must be trolling
Just take a look at the previous seasons, either invisible or injured. Ronaldo-Dybala partnership might work against Parmas and Genoas of this world but not against the big boys in CL, and his salary demands are unacceptable. We need to sell him and get a real top 9 to support Ronaldo imo.

Salary demands have been reported to be fake, he wants to stay and is working with the club for a mutual solution. If you really think Dybala - Ronaldo partnership is the problem of this club offensively , i dont know what to say really. Puzzling analysis

How the hell did Barca manage to saddle themselves with all those wages? I mean- they don't have the space for la masia kids, but also have a whole attacking trident benched/loaned.
75% of their players earn more than every one of ours barring Ronaldo & De Ligt (including bonuses).

scroll to near the bottom of that page and you can see the full breakdown.

We complain about Ronaldo’s wage but they have 2-3 players in his salary range and tons of players earning over 10-15M per year. Crazy stuff.

Fake to which extend?

is alarming that they just cant sign the damn contract, so pretty sure something is not going smoothly

And yes, there are some tactical things to take into account when fielding a partnership of ronaldo dybala as 2....or fielding a trident with dybala as false 9. Is not as easy as you portrait it.
