If we're selling Dybala we're a bit fucking retarded

So we'll be left with CR who's old as fuck and some journeyman striker?

So in a couple of years we'll need to rebuild our attack which as we see can now end up costing you 150+ million per world class attacker because football is fucked.
I could understand if we were getting a young world class forward. I mean Dybala is good but there are better players out there, problem is we both know that most likely wouldn’t happen. So I agree It’s a silly move.

Who though? The only player I'd trade Dybala for would be Mbappe, and that isn't going to happen. I wouldn't sacrifice him for Salah, Mane, or any of those other guys.

We have 1 guy

And he's 35 years old
Thats a problem.

In the end all is in Dybalas will. He is wrong to ask 15 mils IMO... Juventus im pretty sure want to keep him but not bend to dybalas terms.

Juve is being put in a difficult situation.

For the sake of the team he should stay and clear all he has to clear with the board, then find a solution. Because to me, it seems that he is in payback time mode.

Dybala is for sale. [TuttoSport front page]

Dybala at turning point: if he doesn’t sign a lifetime contract with Juve, here are the variables Man City & Real could bring in the cash for Pogba or exchanges like Isco & Asensio. [TS]
Cash for Pogba is useless if he wants to stay in Mantschester. Isco and Asensio are meh. If he goes we need a top class mid AND money our way

Costa, Higuain and Berna have no future here

Ronaldo is 35, so can we really afford to put all our eggs in his basket?

If we sell Dybala our attack is truly fucked.
Kulusevski comes in and we get Haaland in 2022. And Ronaldo will play till he's 40. Even without Dybala that's potentially great

All the relatively reliable sources are confirming that he's close to renewal whilst all the negative news are coming from shitty sources.
I understand the frustration and even the trauma last year's saga caused us but let's try to calm down we have enough problems to start inventing new ones :D

Yeah, now it's got to the point that every other day we sell either Dybala or Ronaldo.

Pirlo's hiring gave journalists a field day, they can spill every crap they want because everyone knows literally nothing, starting from Sarri's replacement.

I can't help but feel some of the rumors are directly encouraged by the board to create some excitement around the team after a horrid season, and in Dybala's case maybe it's one of our tactics to lower his salary demands.
By the way, his agent is still stuck in Argentina and that's perhaps one of the reasons why his contract isn't renewed yet. If I am not mistaken, the Argentinian borders should open next week though unless they extend it again.

It's not as much a problem of money IMO but more about with whom does one replace him? Post covid Juve going out to buy Mbappe/Neymar/Salah won't happen.
man with the 15m that we'd give to Dybala we could pay someone coming from outside Italy TWENTY milions net wages!
You could literally bring in ANYONE bar Messi and Neymar.

anyway Dybala is unsellable as long as his ex agents claims 40m from any team approaching him for his old img rights

That story of renewal lasts a couple of months .Maybe last longer than for any other player. If that 15 millions are true than it's ridiculus.I understand him and his manager to ask more to get a better deal but 15 mil.he won't get anywhere.Even maybe not in PSG.

But we won't bring anyone interesting, that's the problem.

I'm totally fine with Dybala getting 10-12m. 15m is steep but you can always negotiate.

I just have a feeling the club again gets worked up in wrong affairs. Focus on getting rid of useless oldies and always injured ones: Khedira, Higuain, DC, Ramsey, Berna, MDS, Rugani all should go. They earn too much in comparison to what they give the team. Dybala bails us out every week.

But what do you propose then?
I'm not getting paid the big bucks to make the decisions. The Bozo and Tootsie are the ones who created this mess, so they should resolve it in a manner that doesn't weaken the team further, or get the fuck out.

I propose we don't weaken one area of the team, AGAIN, to strengthen other parts. That's not called long term planning where I come from. It's called being short sighted and stupid.

We should stop chasing freebies and chopping and churning too much. Create a solid core and build from there. That's what I propose.

Im not saying 15m is right but....

We are driving down the salaries with so many big earners being shown the door. I would have thought part of that would be to ensure we can keep the likes of our Serie A MVP.

For those who think Dybala is not worth 15m per year, Google the salaries of other clubs...man United, city etc....there are literally players who would warm our bench earning more than Dybala right now. This is what concerns me most...the inflated salaries of shit in the EPL must be so irritating for the likes of dybala who im sure he would be comparing himself to.

15m is a lot for our club and whilst many think he isn't worth it, just think about losing him and having to replace him with someone who is at his level and would earn what he is now, or the extra 700k that they are offering him per season. He earns 7.3m now doesn't he?? 8m seems insulting.

In addition, we are focusing on fixing the midfield yet we will weaken the forwards.

Who is this saviour striker we have lined up that will suddenly make ronaldo score more goals?

Dybala needs support behind him.

He has to be the second highest paid in the team.

Lastly...we are so shit at selling players and getting what they are worth. We overpay for players and undersell players.

I'll put it in a different way: I'd rather pay Dybala 15m than Ramsey and Rabiot 7m. Now you know the drill, because this list can get this long with the current Juve's squad. It's so overpaid and imbalanced, it's not even funny.
