I recall 2016/17 when he played as AM.
He is better when he plays through the middle or as an inside forward than classic winger as we have seen Allegri tried him at last season.
I still think the second half of the 2016/2017 was more of a SS role than an AM. At least he did not have two men playing in front of him.
I used to think it was a waste seeing him drop deep and collect the ball putting him further away from the goal, but this year it works just fine. Perhaps having more passing options and a set system helps him take the right decisions.

sarriball happened.
Yeah, I think the style of play with short quick passes and a more strickt system helps him be efficient.

Poor tici. If dybala continues like this and retires as a juve legend, tici will always be remembered for trying to force him out :p

Tbh it was very stupid of him to try to sell dybala knowing that sarri wanted to use him and it was well kown that sarri was going to change the system.

So all that is on tici

He has never been this much good. For the first in his career, he is top5 in the world and mabe the most inform player in whole Europe.
He has improved every aspect of his game massively.
As expect the Sarriball suits his game perfectly, to the degree that he even performs as a RW. Something no one really expected to see.

If he keeps this form we might have a chance in UCL.
