I understand that Dybala has been borderline infuriating for the better part of 18 months now. However, he is going to be put into a false 9 position by a coach that turned Dries Mertens into a 30 goal scorer.

Im all for dybala as 9, in a proper set team that is.
Last season we didnt had the tools nor the mentality for him to suceed as 9, but now it can be different.
My issue i have , is that higuain can also be a great 9 for us if he is as eager as he seem to be. He was not bad for us in his 2 seasons, scoring lots of goals.

Dybala as a false 9? So who's our main striker then? Sarri wants to have his wingers, Dybala as a false 9 means we got nobody on the box, to make the space for Dybala so how this actually works? Ronaldo going to box to draw all the attention? Or, are we playing with Higuain and Ronaldo upfront and Dybala below them? Where's the width? Like, Dybala isn't versatile enough for todays game in my opinion, it's just how it is. In the future, there will be less and less players stuck on their actual positions, you need to be able to work around different areas instead. Dybala actually has nothing what i consider as a qualities of the modern player, he really doesn't. Modern player needs to be strong, fast and versatile and Dybala is basically soft, slow and not versatile enough. FB's for example, they have their defensive duties, they have their attacking duties and they need to do both in today's game. Then you have Dybala, to get the absolute max out of him you need to make him play a certain position while making others suffer atleast a little bit just because he can't do anything else. It should be other way around, it should be that you should be able to sacrifice little bit of your qualities for the team instead of other way around unless, you're a generational talent, which Dybala definitely isn't. We already have Ronaldo, who has way less responsibilities as far it comes to being involved on defending etc, but his responsibilities are coming from the expectation he has, to carry us with his goals etc so i'll forgive him + he actually can play LW/RW/CF and if we have injuries or anything else, im sure he can "sacrifice" something for the team, even if that certain position wouldn't exactly be he prefers to play at and he still could produce. Dybala then, he can't get anything done unless he plays that certain position, which leads to that being versatile part. You can't even put him on the CF really, he doesn't have the size, speed or toughness to do so, atleast in Italy. He has absolutely no qualities to play as a CF, that's why he needs that false 9 position. He has no qualities to play on either wing either, he has no speed or stamina to play in the middle either. He would need to actually get 40 goals on that false 9 in order to even consider it, which won't happen that's about it.
I really hope he gets to sold in a certain team, certain league and certain system so he can possibly shine. It's not right to give him hope in here, he will never be good enough to be the number 1 guy in a the absolute top teams in the world, he just has no qualities to do so. Get the money from him now, it would be the best for both parties and everyday goes by, his price will drop slowly and he has probably like 2-3 years in the top and has already hit his peak, you just better accept it whether you want or not. Even Sarri knows this and is saying those things because, what else he can say?

We still need at least 6 players for 3 positions upfront, with things standing as they are, without us bringing anyone in those 6 could be Ronaldo, Berna, Costa, Dybala, Higuain and Kean. Dybala could also back-up Ronaldo while sharing the minutes with Higuain as #9 and Kean should be happy to get minutes in whatever position in that front 3.
Dybala asked to be sold.

If he does leave, I can see us pushing for both Pogba and Icardi.
While I really like Pogba I never hid my dislike for Icardi..
