I'd begrudgingly accept Eriksen. I love Dybs, so it'd be hard to see him go - for Neymar, for Pogba, and even for Eriksen, the sacrifice is worth it. However, to sacrifice Dybala to bring in Icunti and/or Chiesa is inexcusable. Such a course of action would warrant Badass's uncle aka Paratici to be stoned in a public square.

If he really asked to be sold then I don't see why we should not sell him.

But you can bet your eyeballs that we'll get Chiesa in his place, which kinda sucks.

he's looked frustrated and unhappy here for a year and a half or so, that's a long time, maybe he just wants to go someplace else.
Everyone clocked that up to Allegri, you'd think with a new coach he would relish the chance to impress under a new system and win a place playing alongside the GOAT

maybe he realizes he is out of his depth, hence the Spurs or Utd rumours ;)

I think a part of that is up to Allegri, but if you've been as out of place as Dybs has been here for such a long time, sometimes you just want to go elsewhere and don't look back. if the quoted prices are true and we can get 90m for an unhappy, underperforming player, imo we should take it, that's a good offer

if he goes to Tottenham. I'd have understood if he went to Atletico but Spurs and United? Come on. It's his choice eventually and if he wants to leave and we get a satisfying offer then bye. With his sale along with Kean, Matuidi and possibly Cancelo we can be back in business yet again this mercato.

Dybala should stay.. if we have to offload a striker, it's higuain that should go
After seeing the way Higgy's conducting himself this preseason I'm beginning to question that. I love Mandzukic for all the obvious reasons but his style as CF wouldn't fit Sarri's football IMO. Sarri needs a quick and tricky false 9 or a CF that can be played off - playing with the back to goal, providing the right passes.

Mandzukic surprisingly does not provide that at CF. He is a pretty lousy CF for this team actually. He doesn't have pace, he doesn't contribute to hold up play as you think a striker of his size and strength would. He requires a centimeter-perfect cross to get a look in at goal. When he was a hybrid-winger he made up for his lack of pace because he could track back a lot more and play as an extra defensive-mid. He could also creep in at the far post and snag goals that way - Higuain would draw defenders and all Mandzukic had to do was jump over or sneak behind a full-back.

Sarri is never going to use Mandzukic as a winger and he just lacks dynamism at CF. He's getting slow, predictable and easy to mark.

Dybala can really excel as a false 9 under Sarri because he understands the role. False 9s just weren't Allegri's thing. But Dybala at his best is IMO a better option than Eriksen and yes, even Neymar given all the negatives associated with him. I would 100% swap him for Pogba though.

Difficult as it is for me to accept it, I have concluded that Dybala will be leaving Juventus sooner rather than later.

Given the situation with Cristian Eriksen in London, it is now a distinct possibility that Pochettino, said to be a fan of the fellow Argentinian, would be open to a player + cash exchange.

This could happen very quickly.

Where would we play the Dane though, B2B? Isn't he an AM? If we're getting an AM then I'd rather James for 45mln who's the same age.

Eriksen alternates CM/AM in Spurs based on formations and needs, last season I think he played a lot more CM than AM and still gave great offensive contribution. James at that price is a pass for me, there's a reason Bayern, Real don't want him and Napoli want him only on loan, for me he's definitely the lesser player between the 2 atm.

Seems like Spurs' interest might be more serious than I first thought.

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...uld-break-their-transfer-record-a4197701.html

Both of these reliable journalists (Gold and Kilpatrick) are running with this, and both are on tour with the Spurs team in Shanghai (where Levy is also, having just negotiated an improved sponsorship deal with AIA @ £40m pa).
Finally some good news.
