Higuain has 8 goals in the last 5 games

That's significantly underperforming for you ?
Good one game bad the next game

His form has fluctuated for the whole season

We need consistency in players

Recent form is good if that's the case 8 in 5 I hope he can maintain a good level of from for the rest of the season

The stupidity on this forum regarding Higuain is amazing.
Indeed

Higuain is a striker that comes with guarantees

There are very few of those strikers in circulation i.e. consistent goalscoring strikers over multiple seasons such as:

lewa, suarez, cavani, icardi, dzeko, kane, aguero, higuain

His price of 90mil was a combination of market value + scarcity premium + our need + who would come, and it looks reasonable when you look at the list above

the man has no fans, the only time someone tries to defend him is out of pity not because someone likes him. I personally wouldn't think twice about selling him this summer if a good offer around 50-60 millions came along. for some strange reason, Higuain and Sturaro are the only 2 guys I feel about this way, I wouldn't miss neither. well of course if adequately replaced, I wouldn't want their replacements to be Matri and Aquilani

I don't think 90 million is reasonable or fair. I think he's a victim of his price tag. Had we acquired Higuain for 50 million, I doubt we'd be having this discussion about his worth or whether he's good value for money.

Another stupid post downplaying Higuain

Oh and I’m a fan of him. Massive fan. The guy has dragged us to victory after victory and is one of the few truly elite strikers in the world. We are very lucky to have him tbh. I actually shudder to think on who we’d replace him with when he leaves one day.

What does having 'fans' on Tuz gotta do with how he performs on the pitch.. What kind of argument is that ?

You must be the only one and you're pretty quite as well. When he's doing well things are quite balanced regarding Higuain on tuz with some insults and some praise going on, but when he's doing bad it's a one way shit show with no one standing up for him, even Bianconero81 recently started a campaign against him.
