The starting 11 is slightly weaker. But the squad is definitely stronger overall.

Last season we had guys like Lemina as our first options from the bench. Now we can choose from Bernardeschi or Douglas Costa. Unfortunately, our business model at the moment dictates that we have to sell a starter every season to strengthen other parts of the team. It’s a simple reality we all have to deal with for the time being.

Just because that has happened for a few years doesn't mean it's our business model. It means that when you're a team like Juventus, most of the time pretty much the entire starting 11 - bar one or two positions - could be considered 'stars'.

Arturo was acting poorly, the other guys asked out. If anything, the business model is to sell players who don't want to be at the club. And I'm fine with that, if players don't want to be at an historic giant like Juventus, in a team that has been stacking trophies and continuously challenging for Europe's biggest honour the past few (or 6) years, then fuck 'em.

Anyway, I don't think it's true at all that we 'had' to sell one of our stars last year, given the insane CL revenue that was earned. In my opinion, no way.

It's just that his root chakra is blocked or underactive. Yeah, well I don't get that, that's probably the difference why I saw PSG as a more logical destination for him. He didn't start anything at United, he didn't get the chance to. If I got treated the way he was, Manchester would be at the bottom of the list of clubs I'd want to play for, while for him it apparently was top of the list. Bizarre.

And United might have won more cups last season, but lets not kid ourselves, PSG are still 3 levels above them, EL will possibly remain Pogba's biggest trophy from his time there. Fingers crossed

I get where you're coming from. But he loved it at ManU, and I don't think he ever truly wanted to leave -- I think he basically considers that club the biggest team in the best league (I feel filthy just typing that). In his mind, it was unfinished business, and he wanted to prove that he could excel there, and take a massive club back to the top. And I hope he never does.

I don't think PSG are 3 levels above ManU at all. I wish I thought that, but I don't. I would say that they definitely have a better squad right now, PSG have returned that star power after last summer's ridiculous expenditures, but until they do anything outside of France I'm not going to give them too much credit.

I hate ManU, but I also hate the teams that are blowing up the market at an insane rate.

We are not able to keep those players because we can't pay the salaries they could earn elsewhere. We were reluctant to pay €6M for Vidal. We obviously couldn't afford Pogba's wages. Bonucci is among the highest earners in Serie A at €7.5M net. All left Juve for much higher salaries.

If we could match player's demands, why would players want out ? Heck how come PSG have latched on to their best players for so long? It's because they're well paid.

Soon Sandro and Dybala will follow too so are we going to make up excuses for their sales too? There's a big reason why we are unable to latch on to our key players every year and it's invariably linked with money whether you like it or not.

Our revenue is not spiking up any means compared to elite teams who have more money and can pay more so it's always going to be difficult to keep our stars. So in essence he's right. It is a business model we may have to follow for the time being because financial resources have exponentially increased elsewhere in different leagues.
