While this can make someone get down for a couple games, i think is not an excuse for dybala. I mean, his career is not over after missing a couple important penalties.

But he is not a CF. He would looks cool and all, but we are a team that depends on crossing the ball a lot. Dybala would just play as a 10, disguised as CF.
Both players have problems right now... we have a dybala that doesnt suit our lone striker formations,,,, and we have a higuain who cant score for shid for his 90 million tag.
And to throw more spice into it, i dont even know if i is really those 2 faults, because even our tactics and gameplay could be wrong, so allegri is included here.

We cross a lot, but higuain wins nothing invthe air and most crosses go to mandz. If you are going to have a lone strker, it better be someone like ibra, or a tiny guy like dybala, but a real world beater who can score for fun.
Higuain has over dybala that he can score with both legs, while dybala is overly reliant on his left. But more than higuain having both legs, is that dybala just cant use his right leg. Thats one problem.
The other is that dybala is a one trick pony to be honest, no, 2 trick pony.... But he is godlike at those 2 tricks. Those are, cutting in and shooting with his left... and the other being a killer free kick taker.
In my eyes, he is like a poormans leftie delpiero... a great player with a great left shoot but very limited creativewise compared to the latter. Anyways, he CAN play as support striker and he is very good at it... but we do not play 352 anymore so...
Higuain seems to be past his prime already, compared to his previous years. He cant even keep himself properly fit. So yes i agree that maybe we will do better with a younger player entering his prime. Its just taht i dont think dybala is that man to be played as CF.o

If we are playing 433, I would rather have Dybala in our starting eleven than Higuain. Dybala has better close control, better passing, and better linkup play than Higuain. He's also a better finisher these days. Not to mention that Dybala has the occasional ability to do something outrageous out of nothing.

The thing with Dybala and Higuain is that they occupy the same spot on the pitch. I mean, they both have to sacrifice to create some space for each other. Another thing is they're very often close to each other but they have no understanding whatsoever. You'd have thought that two Argies, attackers with so much technical ability could play with closed eyes together and they still would find each other but no. Dybala found an understanding instantly with Mandzukic, Pjanic and Bernardeschi but still struggles with Higuain which is weird.
At this point if I was Allegri I'd play 433 with Dybala as the CF. If I needed physical presence I put Mandzukic next to him and those two would be starters for me. Then I throw in DC/Berna/Cuadrado on the wing depending on form. Higuain at this point is a luxury player, especially since he stopped scoring even easy chances he's had. He needs rotation to be useful anyway. When rested he's really lethal.

Exactly, i was thinking the same, Higuain sould be more involved in rotation system, he hasn't scored for last 3 serie a games and he didn't play quite well, he had a game off before napoli against crotone and then he scored the winning goal there, I think we should try mandzu as cf also, as for paulo he shouldn't miss more than 1 game in a month, he is our most creative player, but we can only talk as max is taking the decissions and the results prove him right.
I dont think taking away space for another forward is a bad thing in theory but you want a balance and you want both players being effective. If Higgy was banging goals in or vice versa there would be no issue but thats not really the case right now. Higgy sacrificed for Dybala at the beginning and was doing very well in hold up play and Dybala was hitting on all fronts but that stopped to some extent for whatever reason. I think a lot has to do with coaches seeing he was the goal threat and not Higgy so space for him tightened up.
1. How can we get both forwards to be moreeffecient in their finishing?
2. Find the balance between them to make the PAIR the best possible.
When one starts to hit a good patch of form I think the other will follow.

For 150 I think its not a bad deal and more than that Id be for it. Have Higgy and Mandzukic and but another good winger like Lemar or Pulusic thats young and get a good midfielder like SMS. Yes I know that it wouldnt completely cover it but would be a good start

That would be ideal but I'm not sure if I trust the board with that kind of money, especially after we wasted 90 million on Higuain.
We've bought Matuidi and have previously been linked with Mascherano and Iniesta. Not that I think that Matuidi was a bad deal, but we really need to stop targeting players in the twilight of their career and start buying the up and coming future stars. I'd rather have us pay 80 million for someone that can give us 10 years of service than 40 million for someone that can give us 2 years max before he declines. In the long term, that's a better investment.

Higuain scored 30+ goals for us. Maybe i exxagerated with my previous post, but what he did was truly outstanding taking ina ccount our previous top scorers before he came, and that is clear to see. Without Higuain and his goals..we would have not won the scudetto. Thats a fact.
About Dybala, im let down by his actitude and his current level. It seems he will reach his ceiling soon and will not be any better. He is still really good tho, but tahts it.
