Ridiculous. Yeah, he's not Leo Messi, guys. Dybala won't be a player who is included in future arguments about who the best attacker of all time is. Get over it. That narrative is so stupid, and played out.
The guy is in a slump, after starting the year on a crazy goalscoring tear. Nothing we've seen suggests that he can't be an awesome player for us for a very long time.
Also, a lot of outstanding players in a lot of major sports struggle with consistency until they're 2-3 years older that Dybala is right now. Two years ago, he was our best attacker. Last year he was in the conversation despite adjusting to a new role. So 2 Scudetti, 2 Coppa, and a trip to the CL final in his first 2 years at a club that has widely been considered a top 5 club in the world the past few years. That's actually quite a bit to show for somebody who turns 24 years old tomorrow.
