Rumors are that Barcelona are in advanced negotiations for Coutinho so we might keep Dybala for another year.

Although with the obscene amount of money Barcelona are gonna get from Ney, maybe they want to get Coutinho and Dybala.
They can use that extra money, that will be left after buying Coutinho, to pay their players even higher wages :baus:

If Coutinho moves and Mbappe heads to Madrid. We will be safe from the Liga clubs sniffing for Dybala!

...it'll be EPL clubs instead :snoop:

If we sold Dybala isn't up to him IMO. He's an awesome dude that dedicate his own time to help people and children with needs in a real philanthropic way, no so much about marketing issues so he's as good as it can gets

If Farca offer a lot of money showing they wanna replace Ney with Him; if Beppe show the offer to him; what would you think? IMO Paulo would see Juve have the will to let him go for MONEY so not much loyalty and love in that way, then he would have the option to play with his NT captain and idol if he want to so honestly I don't get why people is talking shit about him

It's like Alvaro, he went to RM cuz we didn't try hard to keep him (but but recompraaaa, cut the nonsense, Juve didn't really try to buy him cuz we wanna Big Uain) and that's the real statement a club can do to a player, cut the BS around every players, BonBOn is an asshole, Paulo is love even if we send him to Farca

Barca is funded by their city-state, money is not their main issue.
They hunt glory and prestige. They cannot buy any player in the world to replace the prestige blow the sale of Neymar's would mean, except maybe a few names from Real Madrid.
Dybala had a considerable hype, as the new Messi tittle started to stand for smth, but after this final, he lost some of his prestige power. However there aren't any better options around.
Consider their option and what would benefit their prestige the most and our open politics of selling our champions, in contrast of the teams of the other candidates and you will realize the danger we face, should the Neymar's transfer actually happens!

First of all, we have been here before. History tells us repeatedly that what the player or management sais is not always a good indication of what happens. With Pogba, I said the probability of him staying was less than 30%. With Dybala, I think it is 50% this year, but it would seem more likely he would leave next year. But again, it depends. The players Barca could look at are: Aguero, Griezmann, Coutinho, Di Maria, Dybala off the top of my head and there are probably 2-3 other names I cannot think of right now. Giovinco? Haha just kidding.

It also depends on what their coach wants. If they want to continue playing a front 3, I suspect Coutinho or Di Maria are the more suitable players. Dybala is a lefty and never plays down that left side - Barca have been playing with a lefty on the right and a righty on the left in their front 3 - so its hard to see how Dybala would play on the left. If the coach decides to play a trequartista he could use either Messi or Dybala behind the front two but that would seem unlikely at this stage.

The difference in England versus Spain or Italy, is that the coach is also the "Manager". Therefore, Klopp has discretion for Liverpool and he is likely to want to keep him at all costs.

From our perspective we have to HOPE like hell that all of a sudden Coutinho pushes for a transfer to Barca.

Agreed. Every club in Europe KNOWS that we will sell if the player wants out and this puts us in an uncompromising position. Even if we received 150m which is probably more than he is worth but a fair chunk of change. Can we get a player that has potential to be AS GOOD or BETTER than Dybala for much less? Bernardeschi, with all due respect has shown a lot less than Dybala and the ages are similar.

If Dybala wants to stay, then the situation should be simple - wouldn't even consider selling him unless a CRAZY offer came - i.e closer to 200m because he could be worth that someday.

However, if Barca wants him and Dybala wants Barcelona, and Barca's offer is around 120-130m, I can see this management selling him. If this happens, the one transfer I could see Marotta going for is someone like Thomas Muller. But who knows.

Lets just hope that Dybala wants to stay or Barca get Coutinho. Dybala's will is the key here.
Incorrect. Pogba never came out and said he's staying last season. He was quiet during the links to Man U. Dybala just recently came out and said he's gonna stay.

Correction. He didn't exactly say that. What he said was that he is "happy here" and said its nice knowing other big clubs like Barca or Real Madrid show interest because it means you are doing something right. Then he said, if another club wants him, they have to speak to the club first and then the club speaks to me.

Somewhat reassuring but he hasn't exactly said he is staying either.

We lost Tevez and got Dybala - Just a reminder Dybala is talented but Juve`s Tevez was much better than this Dybala (not talking about potential but actual level..
If we sell Dybala Im sure we can find a replacement for him as he isnt really irreplaceable...
Pogba was far more important for us in 2016 than Dybala is to us now
The thing is - Why should we sell for 120M when we can easily get 150M for him.. The market gone crazy and it would be stupid to sell on the cheap rather than take the full amount (that is if we actually decide to sell...)

Dybala could reject Barcelona

Reports in Spain suggest Juventus forward Paulo Dybala could reject a move to Barcelona.

The Blaugrana are thought to be close to selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record €222m.

Given Dybala’s idol is Lionel Messi, it has been widely suggested they could use the money to fund a move for the Argentine.

However, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barça haven’t contacted La Joya’s entourage, leaving the player skeptical over how much the Catalan club want him.

In addition, Dybala is thought to be unsure over which role he would play if he were to move to Camp Nou.

He wouldn’t be a natural replacement for Neymar, as his style is more similar to Messi and there’s no chance he’d replace his compatriot in the side.

As the newspaper has previously claimed, Mundo Deportivo reiterates a verbal agreement between Dybala and Juve that he can move to Barça for €120m.

However, it appears the player himself may actually reject the move.

Now this .....

Barcelona fans want Paulo Dybala to replace PSG-bound Neymar.
Around 47% of the readers (more than 10,000 people) believe that the Juventus forward should be the primary target if Neymar leaves while only 14% voted in favour of France forward Dembele. Griezmann finished third with 11% of the votes while only 10% of the Mundo Deportivo readers would replace Neymar with Monaco teenager Mbappe - despite the starlet being heavily linked with rivals Real.

Now picture in young Dybala's mind reading this that the people must have me. Sorry pal, you're not going anywhere for anything this year. Juve loves you but without telling him come Monday morning after winning the 2018 CL title, Juve will gladly limo you over to the airport and private jet you to Spain for 195 mil. Adios amigo! And muchas gracias!
