I didn't hear Mandzu bitching about our loss.
Mandzu cares, but not as much, he already has his treble.

When did that happen?

Also, that is wrong. There are many reasons a team can lose a game, it doesn't have to be psychological.
We've beaten Real Madrid in the past in almost every stage of the CL, but lo and behold we can't do it in the finals.....us juventini hold that 3-1 beating that galactico madrid in high regards and it's pitiful, there wasn't a trophy associated to it. Madrid always gets in when it matters, in the finals. We can never say that Madrid is our bitch....

What does the past have to do with this season? They were different teams. That's a very simplistic way of looking at it.

Be disappointed is beyond understandable, but fuck that if even for a second it excuses the dumbass remarks here.

Needs to be held accountable for it.

Alves is a complete idiot. But marvellous player.

I cant be mad at him, im not surprised and he was honest.

But as a professional, he has to bear the consequences.

Who cares what Dani alves suggested? Dybala has stated severa times he loves the club, and wouldn't mind staying for a very long time, even after Dani arrived. Marotta also said we have a project like we did with del Piero with Dybala, so he will keep improving here. What Dani alves said was stupid and nonsense

It's the same thing as in 98.....
The same team that lost in 98, won in 96. Then lost in 97 too. How does a champion team become a choker in one year?

Now I'm not saying that there's no psychological issue at play when we reach finals, but when we lose a final it could simply be that the other team was better...

To me it just sounds like a defense mechanism Juve fans to save them from further hurt.

In 2015 nobody denied that we were outclassed, we were disappointed about a lost final but not by our players performance. This year though......they brought choking to a whole other level, 50+ minutes of shitting bricks.

I dare say even Napoli would've shown more fight then us during that night.

Look at it that way if you want, I saw it as being technically and tactically outclassed.

Yeah, Napoli... the team that gets booted out of CL every year by the 1/4s at latest, and have received a few good beatings from Real. The team that can never provide a serious challenge to Juve. The team that self destructs whenever they get within touching distance of Juve. Now they you can call chokers.

Are you serious right now? A player kisses our badge, looks you in the eye and tells you he loves you, and you think that means shit when they get an offer from Barcelona, Madrid, etc?

We have a project for him, so that means he'll stay? Grow up and smell the non-existing silverware. The kid will want to leave for CL. You see how 60% of the posts here are like "Meh, screw him, he sucks anyways, he can leave idc"? That's what it looks like when fans are psychologically preparing themselves.

Go to a Madrid forum right now and watch how they say similar things about Ronaldo. Ronaldo!!

During the first 30 minutes we were bombarding them, even had the chance of being 2-0 up...even if we did get that advantage, we'd still crumble.
IMO mentally, they were on another level to us and they had game changers all over their starting eleven so even if we took the lead, they would've found a way to claw back. That's just my view.

Well, maybe he's just frustrated with the team. Losing another final was hard enough but the way we did added to the pain even more. It sent the wrong message that we're not in the same league as the Spanish teams. And well, talent wise we're re not. We can't forget he's one of the main reasons we got to this final. It was his individual talent that made it possible.

My personal feeling is... You take what he said after the final plus this, is really tells me that he expected our players to be better. We're not as talented as we think we are, seeing our forwards haven't been prolific in the CL, and our mid is good but not enough. Don't even let me mention our bench.

So all in all, if there's one player who can complain its him. He gave his all and expected the same from the rest. Didn't happen.
Let's not pretend like it was Alves who brought Juve to the final on his shoulders. He did shit in the group stage. He scored against Porto as a substitute. He put in a good defensive performance against Neymar in the first game and he was good against MONACO where we totally dominated them. And he failed in the final like the rest of the team. Your post sounds like D. Alves > Juve and the lolzilian should be ashamed that he decided to join us.

He needs to punished for this absolutely ridiculous comment about Dybala.

Believe what you want buddy

Agreed but we dint show any fight in the 2nd half. That was the most disappointing part.

I'll be the first one to admit we lost to a superior team but our effort was lacking.
Agreed. One player in particular I think did choke. Otherwise we were neutralised in midfield, our best midfielder was struggling, and we generally don't do well when chasing a goal. That's something we need to work on.

It's something to do with our defensive mindset. From the outset, our plan is to score first and then sit back which is basically asking for trouble against teams like Real Madrid.

Even over two legs for that matter , I haven't seen us come from a loss in the 1st leg to overturn the result or atleast I don't remember.

Truth be told, Dybala definitely won't reach his full potential as trequartista but it looks like that's where he'll be playing again next season.
