Because it's impossible with Ronaldo and Messi still playing to get a reasonable competition. If both keep racking up 20+ goals a season and win at least 1 trophy its a shoo-in that they will win it. Buffon can win the treble and save a penalty in all possible finals but as long as Barca or Real win the La Liga and/or one of those two finish at the top of the scoring charts, it's impossible for anyone from any other league to win it. It's been a popularity contest for years, just like the Team of the Year.

No team build up, not enough intricate touches from our attacking players, not enough Barca-style link-up play. Not sure if those players would all be able to score goals like that again given the chance.

Therefore, the real score should be 0-0 and I am quite concerned about the rest of our season.

I think his contract with nike has expired, he hasn't announced a new deal yet but I did hear that adidas and under armor showed interest, just like POgba last year before he announced adidas he was wearing blacked Out nike boots

In my opinion, ballon d'or shouldnt go to "roflmao 758 goals against crapone".
Its the player who influenced the season the most, made the biggest difference.

One could say, Ronaldo did just that against wolfsburg last year, or bayern this year. Altho technically, it was the linesman.
