He was a starter last season tho, and would have been this season too had we gone for a Batshuayi/Gabigol type of transfer instead of Higgy. And yes, hes a damn good player. Max loves him, enough said really

How is that? Isnt he on around 15M gross? Pounds i think but that's still closer to 8M Euros than 9M

He is asking for what he deserves.
Sarcasm dude

You are kidding right?
Obviously Dybala's comfortable at Juve, but it does matter.

Just look at the Messi-Zlatan debacle for example. If influential players don't get along or don't feel well, that's toxic for a club.

These guys are humans too. Dramatically overpaid humans, but still humans.

So Hazard makes more? That makes sense given his more immediate impact on Chelsea, but you kind of expect the world's most expensive player to be among the best paid as well.
Hazard makes 200k pounds a week, Pogba 290k, if these numbers are to be believed (they make sense to me):

http://www.totalsportek.com/football/chelsea-player-salaries/
http://www.totalsportek.com/money/manchester-united-player-salaries/

when looking at the highest paid players in the league:

1. Pogba 290k
2. Rooney 250k
3. Ibra, Yaya, Aguero 220k
6. Schweinsteiger, De Gea, Hazard 200k
9. D. Costa 185k
10. Sterling 180k
11. Silva 160k
12. Cesc 156k
13. Terry, De Bruyne 150k
15. Mata, Mkhitaryan 140k

you can notice they are all United, Chelsea and City players there. highest paid Arsenal player Ozil and Sanchez at 140k, Liverpools Milner and Sturridge at 120k. wont even mention the rest of the league

those are gross wages btw. now if someone is willing to calculate the weekly wages into yearly, then convert to euros and then to net, please do

I'd say we are pretty well covered on the team spirit side of things. It's not like a 23 year old can't be friends with a 30 year old either that's why I thought it was an absurd comment.

Yeah of course we are. As a soon to be 30 year old I fucking hope I can still relate to someone who's 23.

290.000 is around 15 mio a year. Converted to EUR thats around 17.700.000. As fare as I can see Income tax for top earners in the UK is 45%. 55% of 17,7 mio gives a net sakset of 9,7 mio euro.

Oh ffs they were quoting the Sun. Nevermind it's trash.
Of course it's trash.

But I do think Morata is kind of 'homesick'. It's obvious he really liked Italy and Juventus and even if he wasn't always a starter here everyone adored him.

If he would come back he'd become an absolute legend here, that I am sure of.

Yeah they doubled his Juve salary. but with a new contract here hed have 7M-7.5M + bonuses so not much of a difference still. The reason he went there imo is the marketibility of the EPL as a league and of United as a club. Off the field he can make much more there than here
