We're gonna have to bump that maximum up to 10 million per year. If we can offer players 9 or 10 million, they will definitely reconsider going elsewhere for 12-13 million per season. Pogba earns around 15 million per year at United now, isn't that right?

Zizinho is such a stubborn numb-skull at times. Take his stance regarding Luiz "past it" Gustavo for instance. As for Mandzukic being a starter, he shouldn't be when both Dybala and Higuain are fully fit. It's an eyesore watching Mandzukic and Higuain trying to link up. It's like pairing Trezeguet with Kovacic or Diego Costa with Dzeko.
Kovacic is not a striker :p

Dzeko doing well this season :numnum:
Hes slowed down lately. Reloading his ammo for the closing months of the season?

You sure? Hazard is supposed to make about 16. Given that Pogba's transfer was recent, I'd expect him to earn more.

I don't know what our board will do. Sound financial management is part of why we're doing as well as we are.

rumors and the idea of Dybala leaving sooner than later won't die out until he signs a new contract. Our management knows this, so why not just get the deal done?
I don't want another Pogba situation developing and I didn't like how that thing played out. Everybody knew Pogba was leaving us sooner or later and that shit made us look like a lesser club.

Pogba earns 15m before taxes. Basically Pogba is paid the same as we're paying Higuain.

Hazard's is 16 before tax. Pogba makes 15 million pounds before tax, so I'm guessing his total net earnings are close to 10 or 11 million Euros.

Nope. Pogba earns much more than what we believe.

Numbers say 290k a week. Net, that is around the same money as Higuain makes.
I really don't want to argue about the accuracy of those numbers because it's been frankly tiresome doing that each time here.

But frankly, it's unreal delusion if one thinks Pogba's move to United wasn't about money which we wouldn't have been able to offer.
That number could just be his Base salary but he could be making a ton of money from image rights which we don't know. It has always been stressed from day 1 that we'd find it hard to keep Pogba and that was down to money.

He is milking the club for a pay raise that mercenary. What can he do on 7 million a year that he cant do on 5. Moneyho mercenary is no better than witsel.

See. He's a backup player, a good one btw.
He was a starter last season tho, and would have been this season too had we gone for a Batshuayi/Gabigol type of transfer instead of Higgy. And yes, hes a damn good player. Max loves him, enough said really

Pogba earns roughly 9 mil a year after tax.
How is that? Isnt he on around 15M gross? Pounds i think but that's still closer to 8M Euros than 9M

He is asking for what he deserves.
